Dam good question. Make it easier if calories are indicated on the each food per 100 grams just like the fast food chains in Australia. Buffet restaurants is to really over indulge. Australians are at distinct disadvantage and struggle to match the value and quantity as generally 10 years behind.

Generally provided good nutrition for the family but let the kids decide when going to a party etc. After one party of excess promply chucked up from the gorging of sugar, chocolate etc A valuable lesson thats not forgotten!

Australia has some of the best food influenced from many countries and a strong coffee culture. But also have a strong fast food sector mainly adopted from USA. Luckily there is a fix also from USA- MFP to the rescue. Beach folk are generally in great shape so you fit just fine!

If you love almond milk you I think would love homemade tastes much much better. Ive made almond and walnut which I prefer as you don't have to soak the nuts overnight. But alas all good things take time!
