  • Wearing your F6 for 24 hrs will give you customized number of calories that you loose in 24 hrs ( BMR+ daily activities). MFP website can estimate it for you based on your height and weight pretty close to it. For me HRM reading was 1370: MFP estimated it at 1270. So it is up to you
  • Vivakai is right! Any time you eat at least you BMR calories you keep your sugar from spiking and dropping. If you are not eating enough- your body will fight you from within
  • I think that during 2 hr session you'll have about 30 minutes in your aerobic zone and 60 min in some fat-burning regimen + 30 min of warming up and cooling down. In 1 hr session you could be in aerobic zone for maybe 40-45 min. I think that 1 hr each day will get you to your goals sooner. Besides, you could eat more…
  • I've got Polar F11- LOVE it! You could get it at ****s sporting goods for $170 and try it for up to 90 days. You could exchange it to less expensive F6 if you'll not be using all the functions. But mine is definitely a keeper.
  • If I am sick- I never eat ! I drink lots and lots of water and some chicken broth. I've read it years ago, that you need water to flash toxins out of your body but you should not be eating anything for at least 24 hrs. When you sick- those ill cells are the first ones to be destroyed by your immune system as long as your…

  • So? How did it go yesterday? Were you strong? Or did you gave in? My day was similar to yours and I gave in- I had a piece of Toblerone dark chocolate (120 cals). That was enough for me start feeling guilty. :blushing:
  • Thanks, guys! I love MFP community. Shorerider, I always read your comments. :flowerforyou:
  • I only lost 8 lbs in 2 months. I have HRM for like 3 weeks. Shorerider, if you right, than my maintanance weight workouts ( when and IF I'll reach my goal weight)- should be even longer and harder workouts than getting there?
  • Good for you :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: I am inspired by your accomplishments !
  • I've been exersising - walking on trademill for 60 minutes with 15% inclination for about 6 months. I worked myself up to 600cals per hour. 3 weeks ago I purchased Polar F11 HRM. Immediately it measured my cals loss at only 300.(same workout) :explode: .Now I've been using HRM daily and daily it tells me that my calories…
  • I am going to be strong: my baby will start pre-k, my middle one will start Kindergarten and my firstborn is starting college :noway:
  • I have access to medical literature, so 500 g of sodium per day is what your body NEED. Up to 1000 g is TOLERATED by human body without any negative effect. Average American diet is 2000-2500 g (4-5 times more than we need!!!!!!!!)

  • Honey, you are just 19!!!!!!! You have another 60-80 years ahead of you. You'll only be successfull in life if you do what you are passionate about !!
  • I' ve noticed that you are student in colege- Perfect !!! My daugther is in college as well. She had extra 3 credit hours available to choose something and she took "personal nutrition". It's an easy subject, light homework load and lots of benefits !!! Turn your luck around- instead of hiding from food issues, become…
  • You need to believe in yourself first. If you don't belive that you are worth it than how can others?
  • NO, no, ignore "meal" tab- you don't need it ( I don't even know why we have that tab). Go to "food". It will take you to food diary.
  • What worked for you? If you were able to do it, help the rest of us. What works and what doesn't.
  • GOOD job :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • Unfortunately HRM readings are the correct ones. I've been exersising according to my trademill for 600 cals at a time. I've been eating those 600 cals on the top of my BMR. That is until I've got HRM that tells me that my workouts are 300 cals only. I've been overeating and underexersising all along.

  • I am glad they are doing it. I am planning tomorrow a 4-hr car trip . I will stay in the hotel for 3 days. I am petrifyed of the food choices on the way. I am so scared to loose what I've been workig hard for. It would of been ossom to see caloric info in all those places.
  • It's a big accomplishment. Good job!
  • Looks very good :flowerforyou:
