Quick oats. If I was only allowed to buy one thing at the grocery store for the whole week, it'd be oatmeal!

I usually have to take my rest days on Saturdays since that's when I visit my dad. You should be taking rest days, though! Your body needs 'em. If you can't stay still for a day or it puts you off track to do so, just do something light like yoga or a walk on your rest day. But you can't skip them altogether.

I usually stop drinking a lot by about 1 hour before but I still sip a bit in the last 30 min before I leave.

Diets in general are not healthy. Healthy is simple. It's mostly fresh foods. Things that can go bad. If they don't expire, they are probably not good for you. Whole grains are better than white flour. Ditch the junk food. Don't go overboard on sugar (except when Easter candy goes on sale...) Remember that almost…

My recommendation is to eat more. It sounds scary but that's the simplest way to say it. Your body might be holding onto as much weight as it can because it thinks there isn't enough food available. Your weight-loss methods should be sustainable. You couldn't eat 1200 calories every day for the rest of your life, could…

Asexuality. Some people are just not interested in sex, believe it or not. Seems like the whole bloody world revolves around sex these days.

3. Aim for stamina first, I would say. 2. I have a weird trick for those side cramps. Works for me but maybe it's because I believe it will work. I read that if you put your arm (of the side that hurts) over your head and exhale when you bring that foot down, it makes cramps subside. So if the cramp is on your right side,…

I just get the unsweetened vanilla. Don't remember the brand. Usually just whatever's on sale! Sometimes I buy the sweetened chocolate kind and warm it up in the microwave for a treat. 170 calories if I remember right (45 for the unsweetened but it's not nearly as tasty).

I can't even begin to imagine the kind of garbage they'd have to put in that stuff. Yuck!

it's the same as my tumblr url. when i made my tumblr, i wasn't in a happy place. i wanted to be "thinner" but also "stonger". then, stronger to me was to control everything i ate obsessively. now, i mean physically strong. i haven't bothered to change it because it would mean a lot of link-changing.

300 is nothing! Don't sweat it. You'll be fine.

Tried it once...it's really good! But make sure you drain it. I didn't know and my lasagne came out like soup

Ditch the bagel, for sure. Bagels have a lot of carbs (and I'm not saying carbs are bad- they are good! carbs = energy). But bagels are good if you plan on running a marathon or something immediately after because you need that much energy. Oatmeal is very fast and nutritious. Put 1/2 cup in a bowl with some milk (I use…

OMG i think i just died and went to heaven

I prefer Chalene. Jillian is too scary for me. Negative stuff doesn't motivate me.

Eat some toast with peanut butter and banana :)

that sounds like its absolutely a good thing! teach her good habits when she's young and she'll hold onto them forever.
-
Green tea & apples with peanut butter. Perfect snack right there!
-
Apple slices with peanut butter, plain air-popped popcorn, almonds, bell pepper slices, grapes. Sometimes I munch on dry kashi cereal too.
-
Me too! I like Oikos with honey. I can't buy chobani where I live :(
-
I do yoga on rest days

Only 1300 a day? Eeeeek! That's not very much! I'd advise you to look up your BMR, hon. ps: Eating one muffin is NOT the end of the world. Life is short and muffins are delicious. If your weight loss methods aren't sustainable, then they aren't going to work in the long term anyway. You have to learn that muffins happen…

Thinking I'll do Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 1 or 2 in a bit. Then I'm walking to a local coffee shop later to meet a friend!

I find that cardio helps get rid of cramps. Pick a workout dvd with an uplifting instructor. Think of your workout time as "me" time (the same way you'd think of a bath or a bowl of ice cream and a movie). I get really bad cramps some months, so bad that advil does nothing. But working out helps!

It's impossible to not like working out. You might as well be saying you don't enjoy music. Just because you don't like running, doesn't mean you won't like kickboxing or rollerblading or yoga or WHATEVER. You can't just generalize and say you don't like any of it. Try new things. Find something you like. I guarantee that…

Asexual. Technically I'm not part of the acronym, although it should be. But then I guess the more things you add to an acronym, the more it looks like keysmash. LGBTQAETC.

Bump it up. MFP sets calorie goals WAY too low. I'd recommend finding out your BMR and going from there. Good luck :)

Timbits. They are my one and only vice. I only buy them every once in a while as a treat. I know they are full of sugar and bad stuff and they come frozen to Tim Horton's but uuuuuggghh they are just so GOOD. It's a problem. But I'm okay with it.

1. A resistance band. So versatile. 2. A good 1-liter water bottle. I'm lost without my water bottle. 3. An intake journal. Having a place to write my intake has been really important to me ever since I quit counting calories. I could go on for so much longer.
