  • wow! amazing....congratulations! I just passed 365. I'm going really slow..but I'm going down. lost about 22 lbs in a year...but you know how it is...up a pound down two. I've been struggling to hit my next 5 pound mark. but I WILL DO IT>.......you're an inspiration.
  • you know there are 42 freakin bicycle crunches on level one???? geez I hate those. this is my 2nd time thru the shred. I can't always do it every day...sometimes I work overtime and it's just too late to exercise after 16 hrs of work. I actually think level 2 is easier than level one...don't give up ladies...it's worth it.…
  • I've been using a Nordic trac elliptical for quite awhile...if I run at the pace of 14-16 for 1/2 hour on the 2nd incline using a weight loss setting that changes the resistance between 8 and 10. I can burn up to 600 or 700 cals in the 1/2 hour on it. but that's running fast and hard. usually that's equivalent to 7-8 miles…
  • I have a nordic track that I use about every other day. I like to set it for the weight loss program 1 or 2 and challenge myself to a 5 minute mile. If I hit the mile then I slow down til the mext 5 minute period. I usually listen to music since it plugs into my elliptical. I'm not much of a tv watcher. I pace myself with…
  • thanks for the great blog. I've been looking for that cat/lion pic for a while. I use it as my pic on another board and then lost it somehow. feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I love that song!
  • yes, I look at the calories and usually try to stay within my daily goal. If I have extra calories from a big workout I may get something a little more than I usually do. but there are things that I absolutely do not order anymore...like McDonalds milkshakes...with the toppings they're a whopping 55o calories in a…
  • wow! amazing loss, you look terrific. thanks for sharing it helps all of us to see your success
  • terrific! doesn't it feel great to buy smaller clothes?
  • usually if I'm not way way under, I drink some chocolate milk or eat a little cereal. this will help you add calories and not be really heavy on your stomach overnite. I allow myself anything within 100 cals either way. this is close enough for me as long as I'm close to the 1200. you can occasionally go close or a little…
  • I just bought the Biggest Loser Scale to measure food at Bed Bath and Beyond for $19.99. it weighs up to 6.5 lbs. my daughter is a chef and she said buy the DIGITAL that you can weigh a higher amount. this one has a flat glass top, not a cup so I can measure a bigger item like a chicken leg or pork chop. it also measures…
  • you look awesome! thanks for posting your pics, it's so motivating to see others nearly the same size and how they look when they're done
  • wow! you're so motivating! thanks for posting your pics
  • that's a lot of calories! but at least they paid for it. yes, I've seen it done. I used to work in a grocery a long time ago. we would find lots of empty boxes and bags that people ate the stuff then hid the packaging behind other items on other shelves. the store can have you arrested for shoplifting if they catch you. I…
  • it's ok if you're just starting out. she does a warmup then you do the day segment then cool down. personally, doing just one mile isn't enough for me. I've been doing her dvds for quite awhile. I usually do 3-5 miles at a time and use the ones with the weights more lately. if you've been doing her walks for awhile, you…
  • wow! you lost it and the little dog gained it! ggg. he's cute. great job on the weight loss. have a nice day
  • yes, you can gain by sleep deprivation. you're body needs proper rest to repair muscles and keep healthy.
  • I get this if I don't eat enough often enough. My blood sugar drops. could also be sugar withdrawal. did you stop drinking soda or caffeine recently too? what makes it stop? does eating something help? you need to track every bite and the times you feel like this, it should help you pinpoint what's going on. If it…
  • click the tools tab above and scroll down ...the bmi and weight calculators are there
  • terrific!
  • that's interesting that you gained AFTER you left mc d! I'd think you'd gain eating the stuff. hey if you want friends, go ahead and invite me.
  • wow! you lost a whole person! you look terrific. congrats on sticking with it so well. be proud of all your hard work.
  • JM also has yoga. My daughter is doing it....she says it's no jumping, just positions and stretching type moves. or you can do the shred without the jumping. I had to modify it a bit because of my shins and knees too...I followed the beginner girl. don't overdo it trying to follow the expert. it took me 57 days to do the…
  • I just finished this workout. I couldn't do it 30 days in a row. it actually took me 57 days. I did other exercise on the in between days. after about 7-8 days, it does get easier and you won't hurt so much. also there's no shame in following the beginner girl. she's still doing a kickass routine. just some of the…
  • I started it May 22. so it actually took me about 57 days. I would also walk at least a mile with leslie sansone to warm up first because I dont' think the warmup on the shred is enough for me. then I would do time on my elliptical after the shred. so I would burn around 600 calories. I did other exercise on days I…
