Don't know about negating the workout, but I do know rest is very important to muscle after being damaged (lifting) I tend to allow at least 36 hrs of rest after a leg workout before I run. Hope this helps!

Been playing since right before BC. So many toons on a couple of servers (I like the leveling and uping professions aspect of the game). But I have to say my main is an 85 NE Druid on Echo Isles.

I use a glutamine & BCAA blend after lifting. It seems to help with soreness the next day. Don't know if it's placebo effect or not.

Don't beat yourself up over it. It's just one meal. Hell I drink 1500 cals in beer on Fridays and sometimes more on saturdays. Seems like I'm only healthy during the week so I can drink on the weekends.
