Not a big deal at all.

I just want something that helps people remember the difference between 'lose' and 'loose' as those words are COMPLETELY different. Drives me batty.
-
No secret there either. Just called discipline.

Just eat a smaller portion. Losing weight doesn't mean to stop eating all foods. You're freaking out over nothing.
-
I sincerely doubt people are mistaking you for being pregnant if you eat anything. If it's truly that bad then maybe you have allergies or are intolerant of a particular food.

Your doctor is a quack.

Don't sweat it! Some days I eat more, some days less.
-
Guess I should I have read this before I posted. hahaha I'm sure this is most people are thinking.

Just because something is "supposed to be good for you", if you don't like it there is no point in eating it. I can't think of anything more disgusting to eat. However, if you really want to try it, liver goes best with fava beans and chianti.

I"m short and technically a desk jockey during the day. I'm doing pretty good on 1200, sometimes eat less and sometimes eat more, but I'm losing weight. So don't listen to guys who say you can't maintain 1200 per day. How you break it up during the day is completely up to you, no one can guide you.

People are making this harder than it needs to be. I was curious as to the real meaning of the topic title just because of the misspelling.

Everyone is different. Depends on diet and exercise but usually within a couple of weeks you should notice a change. Remember you will have ups and downs and that is OK! Lose/Losing (1 "O"-sorry pet peeve of mine)

If this isn't bad advice, I don't know what is.

Walking. I found it's the best thing for me. Easy on the body and all you need is a good pair of shoes. I use runkeeper to help me keep track of time/distance/speed.

My trainer says running is terrible for knees and feet. If you want to run, try the C25K program. I did that until I figured out that running on a treadmill is great and running on the street sucks! hahaha

I have, but I'm 5'3" and a desk jockey. I honestly haven't been exercising that much so it has worked for me.
-
I just eat a smaller portion.

Avoiding chocolate is not a requirement to losing weight.

MFP has me at 1200 now. I'm trying for only 1 pound a week. I'm also short and sedentary (desk jockey!) so that's why mine is calculated low. Some days I eat more, some days less. As long as you aren't starving or feeling weak you are probably good to go. I would change your weight loss goal to 1 per week and your number…
-
Pretty sure this would be the same effect with most foods.
-
Sometimes yes so I don't end up going over.

Mom jeans should be outlawed. Shame on manufacturers for making them!
-
I just aim for a daily total. Losing weight is hard enough without turning every meal into a mathematical equation.
-
What specific trends are you talking about? Also, just because something is a trend doesn't mean you have to wear it.
-
Going over one day isn't going to make or break anything.
-
Good luck! Really paying attention to what I eat has helped me lose 12 pounds so far.
-
Exactly!! 45 and feel the same. With that said, I wouldn't mind staying 35. Before the gray hair and wrinkles settled in a this year. :)
-
Just do it. If not, deal with it. Won't make or break you.
-
This is too many questions. I'm going back to watching football.

I plan on reaching my goal weight by Christmas. Not going to deny myself a yummy Thanksgiving dinner, but will eat leftovers in moderation. Not gonna lie, I love my turkey sandwiches.
