That was an awesome story and a wonderful NSV!!! My son plays baseball (he's 10) and I wish you were an umpire for him! Congratulations and enjoy your umping!

I am also a food-addict/comfort eater. I am really with you lately. I'm constantly struggling, overeating and then beating myself up and feeling frustrated! The best thing I know (and I'm talking to myself as much as you here) just think of it like other addictions do: ONE DAY AT A TIME. Or even one minute at a time if you…

Yep. I absolutely sabotage myself. Regularly. I have been in a funk for a couple of days over this-my thing is pizza. If I start I can't seem to stop and I allow my kids to talk me into it regularly. :( I told them after yesterday's fiasco that there will be no more pizza for a while. So don't ask. Today I have made better…

You look so much younger and...prouder as you lose! You should be proud-great job!

Since I entered my life a certain way I don't count the normal daily activities that are part of that life (such as cleaning my house or van) b/c I figure that was already calculated in somehow. I only count true, going out of my way to workout exercise. Anything else I figure is just a "cushion" for me. :)

Wow. No more words, just wow!

I have friends who don't think twice about having a baby past 40! I think if it's in your heart you should go for it. There is never a guarantee that a baby won't have "defects"...no matter how old the mother (18 or 50) and you don't have a baby b/c you want a perfect child (no such thing just like we aren't…

And *THAT* is why we all love to hate Jillian Michaels! ;) Great job!

Very nice work! I can see a big difference in the size and "texture" of your midsection! :)
-
Wow! Amazing lady!!!! I think you will achieve your goal b/c of your attitude and your willingness to work! :) Congrats on your upcoming wedding/marriage!

So you are not trying to lose weight? I am glad to hear that! Yes, it's GREAT for building muscle, just make sure you're eating enough protein. :) Good luck.
-
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but if you are 5'7" and 128...I think you need to be eating at least maintenance and just using the Shred to build muscle. That is just my opinion. I know that I am 5' 7'ish and when I weighed 135 I was super skinny. Remember to focus on health and fitness rather than just being "bony". I…

Wow! What a great start you have there! Keep up the good work and you'll get there!

W.O.W. nuff said.

Ummm, yeah! I can see the difference! :)

Congrats! Great job!

You're right, it is terribly hard. And sometimes you just gotta cry to let that out. Then you get on #11 or whatever number you go to. Because you REMEMBER what it felt like to weigh 347 and you imagine what it will feel like to weigh ____ (whatever your goal is). ((HUGS)) Hang in there. It is worth it.

Oh, I have to respond to this one!!!! I have suffered from RLS since I was a kid-sometimes worse than others, especially when I was pregnant with my girls (weird, cause not with my boys!?) And it's WORSE with exercise. However, since I started taking Calcium and Magnesium (combined vitamin) I can lay down and go to sleep…

Great job! And yes, your kids are adorable! :)

I think you've already made up your mind! But I agree with staying away from the isolated trail. Scary! To the pp who is thinking about taking your dog? DO IT! good for the dog and good for you! :)

Congrats on your weight loss and on your marriage!!!! :)

Great job!

That's great! Keep up the good work. :)

That is awesome! :) Motivate me! LOL I work out very hard but I always "screw up" on the calories. :/ Help!

I know what you mean. My brother is 22...he is somewhere close to 300 lbs and the way he looks, so tight and stretched it makes me think of how I felt when pregnant (and I was ginormous in the belly) and your skin just feels "tight" and like you will pop. He smokes, drinks and doesn't exercise. His fave food is mac and…

Wow. I'm impressed. I can't imagine doing anything that strenuous 12 weeks after giving birth! I've had 4 babies and it takes me a full 9 mos to a year to get started on anything! (I blame it on breastfeeding but it's probably just me LOL)
-
Great job! Big difference in the face alone!

I didn't read through all the other advice but I have 4 kids and something I've found that works is not responding other than to say "I don't understand whinese"....Do NOT give him what he wants when he is whining! Period! Unless you like it which you obviously don't. I spank but not for whining....I save spanking for…

Sorry if that sounded all crazy and disjointed. I also have mommy-brain to go with my mommy belly! lol
