I'm in Australia, and I'd love to know where you found these low FODMAP products!

5 Litres is way too much water for one person. If you drink that much water you will flush out electrolytes, which makes you unwell. You should drink regularly so that you don't feel dry. You should also gauge by the colour of your urine: if it's dark, drink more and aim for straw colour. If your urine is almost completely…

Bumping this. I've gained about 20kg since being on Lyrica, over the past two years. Not just because of the medication, but lifestyle too. I stopped exercising for awhile, and my diet changed too. To be honest I'm not trying very hard to lose weight - I've lost 3kg so far, but hoping it will happen if I exercise more and…

Hi. I'm 27, had chronic pain for about three or so years. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I used to train a lot more intensely until I developed fibromyalgia. Now I have to exercise lightly, which is frustrating. My goals have changed a bit. I still want to lose the weight I've put back on, but for the time being my…

The stress of it alone will impede your weight loss. Stupid idea. I'd get away from that situation.

For me it was a few things. I got an injury and then developed chronic pain, so my exercise routine changed. My diet changed because I started getting IBS, and found out I had fructose and lactose intolerance; so I changed to a low FODMAP diet. Then I started taking a couple of medications for chronic pain and depression,…

Men usually eat more calories than women. Don't worry yourself about his diet. If he's making you uncomfortable when he confronts you - tell him that. You should both just focus on yourselves. Its enough effort to concentrate on your own diet as it is.

Listen to your body - if it want more food on the days you work out, then eat more. Fuel your workouts and have post-work out nutrition too.

Sodium is an essential electrolyte. You can't be too far under either. It's required for fluid balance and nerve impulses. I used to be low in sodium, so I make sure I'm getting my target every day.

I have Paul's Zymil, or Liddell's Lactose Free Milk. They put Lactase enzyme in it to make it "lactose free". You can also get lactose free ice cream from Peter's, and lots of other lactose free products from Liddell's. I'm from Australia, so that's what we have here. Not sure where you're from or what you can get.

Did nothing for me. Don't waste your money.

Sometimes my hands get swollen and red and numb when I do strength training. I thought it was related to my fibromyalgia, because I never used to experience that.

Try to include more protein and low GI foods - that will help fill you up. Also good fats will also help fill you up, and caffeine too (within healthy limits of course).

Hell no!! Not only would it be mortifying and distracting, I can't imagine it would be comfortable when you're working up a sweat!
