My boyfriend is the one that pushed me to start losing weight, he said that my health was at risk. Psh, like he's a doctor (although he was right) but now it's more about just getting healthy than "losing weight" really.

Your metabolism can't shut down while you're sleeping or you'd die. I hate that myth. It may slow down slightly, but it doesn't shut down. I eat before bed if I have calories left otherwise I wake up hungry. It wont kill you. Just eat it. ETA: I wouldn't eat something heavy like a massive piece of cheesecake because…

I've been doing it since may. I'm on level 2 day 4 so good luck to all ya'll. You're going to see change but you really do have to push yourself.

I took a break from thursday until today. I only planned on taking thursday off but I didn't know that my boyfriend would spend most of thursday and almost until midnight friday with me (not that I'm complaining, I loved it). I don't workout when he's here because I feel it's rude. Anyway, I was back at it today, day 4 of…

Realistically you can lose 2 pounds a week but it's probably going to make you lethargic and you'll probably be losing muscle mass instead of fat. 3500 calories = 1 pound, so 7000 calories = 2 pounds, you want to lose 2 pounds a week, you need to burn or cut out 7000 calories from your diet a week. You're going to put your…

Once a week. First thing in the AM. Naked. Before eating. After peeing.

I lagged so bad for May, but in June, I'm kicking it up. I'm going to put my goal at 75 miles.

May 22 - 2 miles May 28 - 12 miles May 30 - 18 miles Total for May: 59 miles I didn't make my goal, but I'll tray again next month!

1. It actually takes 3500 calories to lose a pound. 2. Check your scale batteries. 3. Like I said before, ONLY weigh once a week and ONLY in the morning, completely naked before eating anything, after using the potty. 4. Do more than just the elliptical, go for a walk or run, switch it up, if your body gets used to burning…

I hate how Jillian makes promises of change. You're not going to change unless you really force your body, put a lot of strain on it. This also depends on how much you're eating, what you're eating and how well your metabolism cooperates. You should be doing more than just 30DS. I do 30DS but I also do an hour of cardio…

Yes, you could, but only on the regular oreos, not the specialty kinds and you must wash it down with exactly 9.4 ounces of milk. >.> Vanilla oreos don't last around here and I can attest they make you gain weight ;3

Day 3 Level 2 done.

Can't edit earlier post for whatever reason. I just wanted to say, I'm probably the only one that does this (because I tend to be a very verbal and vulgar person) ... at the end of each day I do 30DS, I pause the video and before I walk out of the room to go shower, I tell Jillian to F herself. Makes me feel better. (=

Day 2 Level 2 done. I'm not losing as many inches as you guys are. =( I measured after level 1 and I'll measure again after level 2 and hopefully see a difference.

Baked chicken for lunch/dinner I can handle it for about a week and a half before I get bored with it.
-
Day 1 Level 2 done. I feel it went faster than any day of level 1. I'm going to try to do the first 5 days on easy and the last 5 on advanced. (=

Do you have diagnosed back problems? I ask because if you're doing the form correctly, these moves shouldn't hurt your back. I have scoliosis at a 17 degree curve and my back hurts if I don't exercise.

Once a week. The scale is NOT your friend. You can have up to 6 pounds of water weight. Your weight will fluctuate and I hate seeing people getting discouraged because of this. F the scale and get a measuring tape. Stick to measurements not necessarily weight. Remember a pound is a pound is a pound, muscle weighs THE SAME…

Been busy D9 & D10 done. I only lost about 1.5" so far (assuming I measured in the exact same place as before) but I'm moving on to level 2 tomorrow.

Omg! I'm 5'3 and have a starting weight of 157 and I started 30DS (I'm on day 8 of it today) and I'm soooo tired of Jillian and her "fav girls" and her commentary BUT after seeing these kinds of results, I'll stick with it. Congratulations!!!!

To not pull your neck during crunches, put your fingertips right behind your ears, don't lace your fingers/hands together and keep your chin off your chest, looking at the ceiling. That should help.

Supposedly on your elbows is the "hard" version of a plank although I'm much better on my elbows than I am on my wrists. Either way you need to remember to stuck your bellybutton into your spine, squeeze those butt cheeks together and remain straight as a board, not lifting your hips up too high or dropping them too low.…

Awesome job. Amazing difference!
