I keep an office candy bowl as well....but i only keep things in that i don't seem to like that well. I have peppermint life savers, which everyone else seems to love but that i only eat about two a week after especially garlicky lunches : )

I also felt like this for a while when I first started on here. I had just cut my calories too low and decreased my carbs too much. Once I started eating more and adding a bit more carbs into my diet, I started feeling better.

just to be on the safe side, since there are different opinions on what equals the "waist", i measure both the narrowest part of my torso and what i call my "belly", which is basically the widest part of my torso....usually just under my belly button. this way i get both areas measured for good, uh, measure : )

hmm, I think i didn't state my question clear enough. I'm not looking to go "low carb" in my diet. I was trying to look for a number, if it's even possible, that you should stay under to consider it low carb. like, if a item of food has X amount of carbs in it, it's considered high in carbs. haha. this was my method as well! now i try to throw things away BEFORE i make myself sick on them. but man, it's hard.

on my lunch break, i used to get suckered into a little shop that sold laffy taffy! i thought, what the heck, they're small....besides giving me cavities...i'm sure they helped put on my last 5 pounds. darn you laffy taffy!

i count calories that come from supplements/pills/etc. i didn't used to, but man, some of them can really add up.
