  • Thats the problem. You need, absolutely must, get your own pack. It needs to fit YOU. You most definitely should not have bruising. A little discomfort from something new is normal and maybe some tenderness around the hips -but you should not feel your bag at all. It should not be causing you localized pain. I struggled…
  • Hi, I am a backpacker and totally feel your pain. I am way better now but I do remember those awful days. Thank god the scenery is so beautiful or else we'd never come back! What was it that was so brutal for you last time? the cardio? your feet? blisters? achy legs? heavy bag? What helped me was to make hiking a priority…
  • we're mean to. so we could survive if pregnant probably during a famine. i totally am with you though. its SO not fair!!! lifting weights does do the trick, but ...it definitely doesnt happen fast !

  • it must be your bodies favorite spot to put the extras! give it time and eventually that will start to decrease too! up your weight training and make sure you are lifting heavy! (thats what has worked for me and my legs, my body's favorite spot for fat!) :)
  • wow. GO YOU!!!!! you look amazing!
  • i was on the heavy side most of my late teens and early adult life ---its only in the past 8 years that i've lost most of the extra weight and kept it off. i like what you said about those who have experienced both sides of life. i was never noticed and even referred to as a boy as a child, and ignored by boys as a young…
  • i would suggest that you give the bad food away - i read once "you are not a garbage disposal, dont treat yourself like one" once i start eating unhealthy foods its all a slippery slope from there. for example...last friday i got ice cream. and now i have had it 3 out of 4 of the last nights! and its not even house staring…
  • thank you!! i just got a slow cooker and i would love to try this!
  • yes! absolutely. i've dated more than 1 bald or balding guy.
  • maybe he's married or some how other sneaking around! regardless, if a guy wants to see/ talk to / keep you...nothing will stop him. not a new job, not anything. keeping that in mind helps keep things in perspective. seriously his loss! end your interest in him now and save yourself the roller coaster, sweetie girl.
  • get some 8's, 10's and 12's and also get jari love's get ripped - i recommend either the get ripped and chiseled or slim and lean (dvd's). problem solved :)
  • the cut obliques.
  • the weight will probably adjust itself. as for the problem of binge eating, especially on weekends...you are not alone. i cant stop. sometimes i will stop for awhile but i always start again. i did hear from someone, that she decided to try to control her out of control eating by allowing it, as long as it was under certain…
  • red is super hard to keep bright. they do make color shampoos and conditioners or color care products that are supposed to make it last longer. my sister is a cosmetologist and she preaches that all hair products should be sulfate free.
  • still a gigantic improvement! congrats!
  • your hard work really shows. you look awesome!!! i love the change in your legs, i hope mine do that! CONGRATS GIRL!!
  • i have both. the fit bit is awesome to have in addition to a heart rate monitor because it allows you to have an idea if you are getting in enough steps on a daily basis and also allows you to track how many calories you burn going around walking, or shopping etc to get a more realistic idea of your day. you can sinc your…
  • just keep doing it. i hated it too at first, but with repetition i somewhere along the way have come to love it.
  • i love men of all body types, as long as they are good to me and make me laugh i can find something sexy and attractive in everyone. my <3 is a skinny guy most people would say needs to add some muscle but to me, its all tight and toned and i love it. also love the big guys. and big can be anywhere along the "big"…
  • incredible. the bit about running a marathon 1 year after starting with just a 30 min walk is very inspiring. your boys will thank you someday if they have not already. you did it!!!
  • i know exactly how you feel. you are not alone by far. unfortunately i think all women (even those perfect ones) feel this way because our culture has set us up to feel that way. i know that there is nothing i can really say that will change the way you feel about yourself, or them, because nothing anyone else ever said…
  • i am 5'7 & 3/4 that's probably close enough to count. the lowest i have been as an adult was 134 and it felt pretty great and ideal! but ultimately i want to be 125. unless i dont have a lot of fat at 134 this time since i am working out and not just skinny fat, i would think 134 at that point would be awwwesome!
  • i did this every night for years and have finally got it under control. here is how i think i managed to get it better under control (even though i admit, sometimes i mess up) in all seriousness after spending 2 years on here and making never really staying under my calories i finally admitted to myself, what the hell am i…
  • Thanks Lizzy...are you still doing any sort of weight training while continuing to eat the recommended calories? How long have you been off it? I am nervous as to what to do, because with the weight training that I was doing (light weight/ high rep) eating the calories NROL recommended, Ive actually gained 3 lbs since…
  • omg i never even thought about childbirth!! thats not gonna be cute. C section for me!! :( i did have the problem before, i think from bad eating, too little water, no exercise, straining etc. but this time around its so much worse and from what i read, heavy lifting is just not a smart idea if you are prone. ill research…
  • i really appreciate you responding!!! You do make sense. moderate weight/ moderate reps sounds good too. So i am skinny fat. I've lost a lot of fat already over the past few years but have a lot more to lose, so i want fat loss to happen for sure. Do you think I should just go back to letting MFP tell me what to eat? ie…
  • to everyone (aside from Tom) who has responded on this thread. i love you. you made my day.
  • i swear if only we could rid the world of people willing to do this kind of stuff . you're both single? have at it. one of/both of you are not single? HAVE SOME RESPECT.
  • i just finished workout 1 and it felt easy and i struggled with my grip. thanks for all this on here, it feels really good to know I am not alone!
