Oysters! They feel so indulgent for some reason...

I zigzag my calories so that I can eat like a normal NYC person on weekends when in social situations (drinks + 3 courses). Usually go over about 600-800 calories, but then make up for it by going slightly under some other days of the week (whether that's via eating less or exercising more). But I look at my calorie…

It's been very useful to read all the posts on this thread, and I would be very interested in hearing an update about your experience. I was raised a pescetarian (and thus have been one for about 29 years), and I get sick when I accidentally eat meat. However, I travel a lot and am a foodie, and would really appreciate…

Anyone can add me! I need all the support I can get! I'm a ~1600 calorie/day person who works out about 3x/week.

I add them to tagines!

i like hard boiled egg whites mixed with things (hummus, avocado, chopped olives, dijon mustard, etc.)

I stopped binge eating after a few months of therapy

I put aside 410 calories on 2 out of the 5 days to eat an entire "touch of sea salt" Lindt chocolate bar :-)

I have a FitBit! And am still trying to figure out if I'm using it correctly with MFP. Have lost about 9 pounds, looking to lose another 15 or so. Also have a very loving boyfriend and I will be turning 27 next month. I live in NYC so my step count may seem abnormally high. Feel free to add me!

I agree with frothing milk! You can get a handheld frother for like $3 from IKEA. And a little cinnamon also goes a long way (and helps with cholesterol).

I run early in the morning, so for my shorter runs (2-4 miles), I go on empty. For longer runs (5-10 miles), I have a banana with some peanut/almond butter and some coffee (coffee makes a HUGE difference) 30-45 minutes beforehand.

Training for my first half-marathon in September - feel free to add me!

I know you said no IUDs, but just going to say that I've had a copper IUD since February 2010 and it is pretty great. Only cost me $30 to get it put in and I don't have to think about it ever. Also no extra hormones ---> happiness for me.

I don't record water-based veggies (lettuce, carrots, celery, etc.). Jillian Michaels sees these as "free" foods, and I trust her. :-)

I'm 26 and have been (very) active for about 4 weeks now. Happy to have as many new friends as possible!

My understanding of the phrase means no processed foods and no chemicals (no chemicals also meaning no food sprayed with pesticides).

I have had a fitbit for a few months (well, 2 because I lost one in Bosnia - whoops). It is amazing. But I had no idea you could add friends??? I will explore.

Try brushing your teeth, or gargling sugar or salt water. If you do binge, just work out like hell the next day. If you start associating binging with horrible work outs, perhaps that might help prevent future ones.

Thanks everyone!!!

I have a Fitbit and it syncs with my iPhone so it's pretty great. Gives me weekly progress reports, and "badges" for encouragement.

I would try to avoid artificial sweeteners. If you are able to wean yourself off them, you'll end up craving less sweet things in general. That being said, Splenda is better than Equal or Sweet 'n Low. I just use raw sugar when I need to add sweetness (a little every once in a while should be fine).

I know a number of people who can no longer run because of running too much, not having the right shoes, etc. I would say make sure that you have the right running shoes and that you replace your shoes probably once or twice a year. If you are feeling pain in your knees, don't run on that pain. I think the key is knowing…
