   I never quite got what was so wrong with that diet pill...

I'd echo most of what's been said above. If it were just based on location, I'd recommend Charleston hands-down, although it has a lot more of a tourist-based economy versus Greenville--without an intimate knowledge of the job markets in either city, I'd say he has slightly better chances in Greenville. I wouldn't mind…

In addition to a lot of the comments above, I've found this thread helpful: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/606721-after-a-binge-after-a-meal-out-read-this

This one made me LOL. Love working in swearing and stations of the cross in the same sentence!

Not sure what I said that required a snarky response, but I'm terribly sorry for offending. Consider me chastised for my rudeness.

Another vote for this. I have the same problem because I need a larger cup size/smaller band size combo than is normally sold in standard retail stores--get fitted at a reliable lingerie store (not Victoria's Secret!!)

Puppy... :)

It really depends on the friends. I personally don't give everyone an "atta-girl" for finishing their diary or logging a workout; if I have something specific to say about their diet or exercise, or have feedback to a comment they make, I feel that's much more valuable than a daily WTG response. It depends on the…

OP--not sure if you're bringing food from home or purchasing meals. I generally buy breakfast and lunch, often with a snack/coffee in the day because I stink at prepping food at home in advance and/or get tired of eating the same food from home. I've found some decent non-salad fast food options (downside being the sodium…

I'd definitely recommend tossing in some fresh basil--I've been making it that way for a few years now, and it's a delicious light summer dish!

I love the way you think! I have a dream job as a billionaire philanthropist.

I've been going through this too recently. I've found that I'm particularly prone to eating when I'm sitting around for long periods of time. If I can keep moving or at least keep my hands busy, it takes my mind off eating for a bit. Aside from that, you're just going to have to ease yourself down. There's no rule that…

I just started taking them down today. I don't start feeling bad about it until we hit the Epiphany, but anything after is long overdue.

Speak for yourself--Tuesday is ladies' night at my range. I'll all ready to go after work tonight.

Oh crap, I just realized I left my electric toothbrush on the counter this morning!!!

Amen to that! Vacation is for relaxing! I have to go with some series already listed, particularly: The Hunger Games Trilogy (re-read on a recent Hawaii trip) Percy Jackson Series (read the first two books over Christmas vacation--good story and fun/easy read) Lord of the Rings trilogy (it's on my short list for a…

Have you checked out the training programs on the Tough Mudder website? They have three different suggested routines based on your fitness level--you can follow them on your own or use it as a guideline to find a workout class/program that follows a similar structure. There are other obstacle races that may help you ease…

A friend's wedding last spring, right before I decided to make a serious effort to get healthier. I've lost weight since then, but just changed back to this pic to remind myself of where taking it easy will get me. Time to stop coasting!!!

I think that's just called good, clean fun.

Charlotte!

Where did my motivation go? And why am I getting paid to do this little work, especially when I've repeatedly asked for more?

Here's my rescue pup, Charlie. We're his third (and last!) family. Somewhere along the way he was treated pretty badly, so he's a little neurotic in new situations. But he's clearly made himself comfortable--our bed is his favorite place to be, as you can probably tell.

I have no idea what this whole Gangnam thing is, and I'm okay with it.

Then I'd be sore from this morning's workout in a totally different way...

I had that problem today. I think too small looks desperate (and feels uncomfortable!), so I always go with the bigger size and use this: It's basically an adjustable elastic band with two clips that attach to your belt loops and cinches in the waist.

Mine are actual goals...hoping my husband and I can get to the point where I can quit my current job. If (when) I didn't have to work, I'd spend more time gardening, working out, training and playing with our lovable but unruly dogs, reading, cooking, and keeping my house the sparkling clean I want it to be. I'd spend more…

The salad I bought for lunch was supposed to have grilled chicken on it...and instead they gave me fried chicken. :grumble:

I go in spurts. At the moment, sadly, no. Time to go check out that spaghetti squash thread.

Do you work at my office??? I'm laughing because I just refilled my candy jar that the entire floor shares in, and over the past couple weeks there's been a mean bug traveling through the office. I left a bottle of hand sanitizer up there with a note, specifically because it's just that time of year. Was afraid…
