Question: Did you have to do it everyday? I am struggling through it, and is in my first week. I am probably going to do it 3x a week. Do you think that's enough to get result like yours?

Oh I love posts asking about how to solve this problem. Cause I have it. I am like Meg and firedragon, I believe my bulky muscular calves are due to genetics, even when I was slim at 125lbs and 5'4, I had bulky calves. Although I am sure it is bulkier (with fat intermittently intertwined with muscle now) since I have…

Welcome! I am also horrible with portions and tend to binge on certain self-designated cheat days. :ohwell: I am glad you feel better than when you were 20, I would say you look like you are 20 something also. Good luck on your journey!

I have read a lot of challenges on MFP, and being a lazy person, I didn't want to do a long commitment. This seems like a short challenge I could get into. Thanks for the idea! I would love to join, since I seem to have plateau lately and would love the competition aspect of it. SW (today): 135lbs 14 days later,…

Congrats on your marriage! It is so lovely to have a supportive husband and you are on your way to changing to want to live a long healthy life with that person! =) Great start on your journey with honesty and reflection. You'll do great! =)

Girl~~ You are looking hot hot hot. I want to bounce a quarter off those abs. Jealous!

Welcome! Lovely introduction and I am sure you will reach your goal. =)o

I also love beer...sadly, there are at least 120 calories per pop. So like what others suggested, I drink vodka. Or when I am really craving it, I'll just jump on the elliptical for 15 more minutes just to get my beer.

I  ugly dancing then! I didn't there was a definition to describe my dancing, other than I can't dance. Although so far, all we got are female responses. I am sure some guy will chime in about "as long as a girl is shaking her booty, there ain't nothing ugly about that." Sure, I'll boogie down for you for 5…

oh forget the peanut butter (although I used to love it until I discovered Nutella.) Now it is me and Nutella (minus the spoon). I wonder which is worse? Nutella VS peanut butter. (I tried to justify that hazelnuts are healthier....but doubt that argument would fly in the face of all that cocoa. I do notice they…

Thanks for all the responses. 1) Can't complain about the lack of testosterone...I do like my booty still. 2) Only if we live in a different era, where fat = attractiveness & fertility. Although, I still think media has got to tone down all the skinny images out there. Underweight is not healthy 3) At least women are more…

 I weigh in on the forum sometimes (generally when I am bored and trying to procrastinate). I get what you mean about people's responses. I think in general, people on MFP are supportive, but of course, there ARE a lot of douche out there, but there are always douches  Just ignore them. :flowerforyou:

Welcome Darlene! Great start to your weight loss already! =) Keep it up!

It is definitely tough when you are eating a celery stick and others around are having nice oily fries. I think you are doing well by cooking healthy and persevering. I find sometimes it is okay to cheat 1 day a week. It makes me feel less deprived and help me keep on this journey

To MummaAimz: Oh good, I hope someone answer our question. =) To klkopa: I know...I keep wishing there would be some safe medical breakthrough to get rid of muscular calves (but I guess that would be far under 1) curing all cancer, AIDs, and other far more important medical issues). To bonniebrien: I am with you. I am also…

Poor you...I remember when I had my wisdom tooth pulled, and half my face was swollen and shaped squarely and the other half is round. I remember drinking a lot of soup (pumpkin...my favorite), but make sure it is not too hot, because you don't want the blood to unclot in your gums. Feel better!:flowerforyou:

You look HAWT and amazing!! Congratulations on your hard work! You are inspiring!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes I am so tired of dieting, I just want to give up also. Maybe be less restrictive on yourself. Sometimes you need a break from all the pressure. I know I shouldn't, but I usually have 1 cheat day a week. It seems to work for me, sometimes after eating all the good food, I feel some…

Don't blame yourself. It is counterproductive. You should measure to see if there are inches loss. My scale doesn't budge much, but I definitely lose inches on my belly (although I think my thighs are more muscular). But regardless, muscles burn more. You can do it! =) Don't give up!

Yep, I ditto previous thoughts. I have been pretty steadily losing about 1 lb perhaps once a week or once every 2 weeks. But just before my period, or the week during, I usually gain or not lose (according to the scale). It gets discouraging, but I usually notice my weight will go back to its normal progress after my…

I know how you feel. My job was stressful like yours, and like you, when I stress, I eat and gain. Often the binge eating after hours of starvation definitely didn't help. Perhaps finding moderation in exercising, instead of daily, maybe twice a week on the weekends while taking your daughter on a stroll? This way, you…

Sometimes it is tough and could just be a plateau. That was me 2 weeks ago. Partly I get too stressed cause I am weighing myself daily.... I was about to quit, and then all of a sudden, I lost 2 lbs in one day (and it didn't creep up for the next couple of days). =P Don't give up!
