I'm not going to log in to reset it to 0 and tomorrow also marks my 1st week of sobriety. I know that the alcohol played a huge part…

How much time do you guys put into your meal preps? I try to spend a hour once a week prepping for the week but usually end up with boring, albeit simple keto meals for me and meals for my family. My typical meals are loaded chicken salads, bacon and Brussels sprouts, or BLTs with deviled eggs. What are some things you…

Bacon and Brussels sprouts
Something quick for a snack or the main dish. I use uncured thick cut bacon and I cook mine in the microwave in a bacon dish that saves the grease for later. If you look it the old way in the skillet, that's fine. Boil Brussels sprouts for 5-10 minutes (fresh or frozen. While boiling, for skillet users, cut bacon into…

What are some things that you love to use when you cook? I'm not ashamed to say I'm addicted to spicy. Love to use jalapenos and peppers when I cook, and fresh ginger for a fresh taste.

Week 2 results
In my fist post, I had lost 12.8 pounds. Granted that was mostly water weight but 12 is 12. Today marks another week down and another pound gone which I'm happy with. I would also like to point out that I'm not doing keto to simply lose a few. This is the first time where I've felt better about what I eat, not stressing…

Keto + exercise
Hey so I've been on the keto life change for 3 weeks and while I'm losing weight and feeling better, I've noticed it's taking me longer to do exercises that I could breeze through, like 30 minutes of aerobics and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I've found that instead of completing a workout I'll so…

Death by chocolate keto cake and frosting
My daughter's birthday is coming up and instead of buying or making a sugar shock cake, i googled keto cakes. This was posted by Hey Keto Mama. In it she made a 3 layer cake and figured out a rough estimate on calories. I will be doing cupcakes so the estimate may be off. 2 cups blanched almond flour 1 cup sweetener (I…
