Logging youtube videos like POP Pilates
How do you guys log these? It seems like a no-brainer, but some of the POP Pilates videos feel much more intensive than the cals MFP says I'd burn with Pilates. Should I select Calisthenics? Also, any recommendations of other youtube workouts? I have 45 minutes to kill.

Bean Sprouts as pasta?
Anyone know how to prepare bean sprouts like pasta? Should I boil them? I bought a bag and have some yummy tomato sauce prepared, so I was thinking about combining the two for dinner.

FT7 Chest Strap - Too Small
Broke out my new FT7 today and was super excited! Set up the watch and everything, which means I can't return the product. However, when I put on my chest strap, I realized that it's pretty loose. I guess Polar automatically packages the HRMs with M-XXL straps, and you have to specify if you want XS-S. If I'd known that, I…

Protein powder recipes, please!

Re-introduction
Hi, MFP! I was highly involved in this community for about six months, and have felt it slip away from me for the last few. I recently started nursing school, and was told that all students should purchase scrubs a size bigger, since it was almost a guarantee that we would all gain some weight due to the stress. HUGE RED…

Oats?
Do you react to oats? I never thought I did - and I've read/heard from my doctor that only a small percentage of Celiacs respond to the gluten in some oats. I typically eat certified GF steel-cut oats every morning. However, I've started eating Luna bars lately, since oats are the only questionable thing. Feeling not so…

Prozac + MFP
Is anyone else on here successfully maintaining/losing while on Prozac? I recently started it and have heard of people gaining weight while on SSRIs. However, I assume that's due to an increase in mood rather than the metabolism slowing down, so I also assume it's entirely within my control not to gain. Has anyone else…

Favorite Quest bars?
I just tried the Chocolate Brownie heated up and it was pretty good... but people are RAVING about them, and I wasn't super impressed. Is there another flavor that's better? I also tried the Cinnamon Roll one without heating it and the consistency was awful.

Hulu workouts
http://www.hulu.com/watch/228801/gaiams-wake-up-workout-the-method-cardio-boot-camp?c=Health-and-Wellness#s-p3-so-i0 is my favorite on Hulu! But I'd like to supplement it with one or two more - what's your favorite Hulu workout?

Coffee Measure?
I'm staying at my uncle's for the week, and he doesn't have any smaller measuring spoons. His coffee scoop looks to be about 1 T - I know most are 2 T, but this one seems like half the size. How common are 1T coffee measures?

TEAS
My biggest stress right now is the TEAS. I am applying to Georgia State's highly competitive program in March for next fall. I'm scheduled to take Anatomy 1 during the spring and Anatomy 2 during the summer. Though I've already taken Microbiology, I opted for Biology (you can pick Chem, Bio, or Physics at GSU - why, I will…

Mentally Preparing
Hi, all. I've been having issues with late-night binging over the past few months. I've been doing well for the last week or so, but I've had some triggers (mainly, stress and finals) and I want to mentally prepare myself for this evening. Any tools you can share with me that I can read when I get home from work would be…

Measuring protein powder
My container says serving size 1 scoop - 21.5 g. Should I measure the scoop with that (it's 7 g by itself) or subtract the scoop weight?

Falling off the wagon - and why it's OKAY to take a day off
Just wanted to share a bit of my personal experience on this site... For the first two months, I ate "immaculately" (quoted because it was immaculate in my eyes at the time... though, obviously, good and bad eating is all subjective). My target calorie number was GOD. I always underestimated, never wanted to go over. If I…

Week 4!
Anyone else on it? I have my second day of week 4 tomorrow, and I'm feeling EXCELLENT. I do wish there was more level ground near me, though. I feel like I'm always going up or downhill.

1st Time Cosplayer!
I haven't been to a convention in 3 years, and I've never cosplayed in my life, but..... I'm seriously contemplating creating a Katniss Everdeen costume for Dragon*Con this year. I should be at my fitness goal by then. Anyone here cosplay? If so, how/when do you start on your costume??

Joint Pain Worsening
Hey, guys! I'm a 23 year-old female who started running in the last few months. I've always had clicks in nearly every joint and have always been "aware" of my joints, from slight pain or stiffness. Lately, though, I've had knee trouble and horrible stiffness in my left hip. Yesterday, I woke up with severe stiffness/pain…

Starting fresh - how to mentally arrive there?
Hi, everyone! I'm back on the site after a few weeks of awful eating and slacking on my running. Definitely didn't feel good doing it, and I'm anxious to get back on track. However, I seem to have some sort of mental block that I'm having difficulty overcoming. It almost feels like a self-sabotage sort of thing. For those…

Calories in salmon per oz
I see a bunch of different calorie counts on here. Not sure if it's because some are weighed before and some after, and maybe a bit of the fat burns off (not even sure if this makes any sense scientifically) during the baking process? Basically, I want to find out how many calories per oz a piece of salmon is. The only…

Packaging vs. Website
I purchased Kettle Cuisine's Thai Chicken Curry Soup. My package says 180 cals, 10 g fat, 11 g protein, 13 g carb. However, the website lists it as 330 cals, 10 g fat, 13 g protein, and 40 g carbs. How am I supposed to know which one is correct? It's a frozen food, and my soup is from 2011... it's a 150 cal difference, so…

How to relieve TMJ pain?
Anyone have any remedies? My left side has been super affected lately (under a LOT of stress). I've been popping Ibuprofen, and I know a splint is the best option, but I don't have insurance and don't have $1000s lying around for one.

Secrets for cheaper flights?
I'm looking to book a roundtrip flight from Atlanta to Frankfurt in May. Right now, the cheapest flight I'm finding via Kayak.com is $941. That's still pretty cheap for a flight, but I'm wondering if there are any other secrets that you guys are willing to share? I'm looking at Tues, Wed, and Sunday, which are typically…

Electoral College
Do you think the US will ever get rid of it? I feel like this debate has been constant recently, and I've actually never met anyone who sees the benefit in it. Seems to me it's only being kept around because the "founding fathers" created it. I'm frustrated, because my views differ greatly from the majority of people in my…

Picking out a bathing suit...
So, I'm absolutely in love with this suit: http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/swim/patternsandprints/PRDOVR~58325/58325.jsp The weather's been getting warmer, and I want a suit on hand just in case there's a beautiful weekend coming up. Question - how do you shop for one online? I can't remember the last time I bought a…

Weighing Food
I just got my scale recently, so I'm still getting used to more accurate measurements! I love it. Question, though - when you weigh things like apples, do you cut 'em up and weigh the pieces that you're actually consuming? Without the core, the calories are dramatically decreased, so I feel like it makes sense. However,…

Measuring Spoons!
I use my measuring spoons every day, but the ones I have are getting pretty old and I'm ready for a new set. Which ones do you use? I hand wash everything, so they don't have to be dishwasher safe, but I would like the numbers to stay on and not wash off in the first month. Thanks in advance!
