Weighing Food

I just got my scale recently, so I'm still getting used to more accurate measurements! I love it. Question, though - when you weigh things like apples, do you cut 'em up and weigh the pieces that you're actually consuming? Without the core, the calories are dramatically decreased, so I feel like it makes sense. However, I'm curious to hear what you guys do!

I weigh most foods but for apples, I just enter it as a medium apple which is like 80 calories so I guess I am no help there.

Same. I don't really bother weighing fruits..but things like meats, pasta, cheese, peanuts, ect must be weighed.

I feel that, but on my days off I don't have as many calories to work with, so I want my macros to be as accurate as possible. Thanks, guys!

I do not weigh apples, but I have a similar question. How do you weigh peanut butter? do you tare the spoon and then dip it into the jar and then weigh?? Is that the best method?

Pretty much, or just use some wax paper on the scale.

As for an apple, i cut it up and weigh it.
