These machines retail for about $2500-3000 brand new. This particular unit is about 3 yrs old but barely used. They are asking $700. What do you think? Should I buy it? How acurrate are the cardio machines when they tell you calo
I work out on the TRUE brand machines. It estimates around 280 calories burned on the elliptical (hill intervals, level 5) in 30 minutes or around 320 calories burned in 30 mins on the treadmill (12% incline at 3.5 mph). Does that sound right?

I'm making them for the first time tonight. How long should I cook them on the grill? I imagine since the meat is so lean, that I won't want to cook them as long as beef since they might dry out? Any seasoning ideas? Thanks!

I lost FOUR pounds my first week on MFP!!!
I'm so happy! Really! But should I be concerned that MFP set me up to lose 2 lbs a week and I lost 4? I want to be healthy about this weight loss, and I know they don't recommend aiming for more than 2 lbs per week. Maybe its just cuz this was my first week on the program? I'll wait and see what happens next week...

No exercise over the weekend means less food for me!
Its tough! When you're used to eating your M-F activity calories and then you don't get them on the weekend. Its a challenge to stay in your calorie budget. Weekends are tough anyways (usually get togethers or fairs, etc that have you consuming higher calories). I need an exercise machine at home, its too hot to exercise…

I like how MFP sets your cal limit based on your goal loss..
but how accurate is that? For those of you that have had success, did you lose at the rate MFP said you would? For example, I want to lose 2 lbs per week so my daily cal limit is: 1320. If I stick real close to that, what is the likelyhood that I will actually lose 2 lbs per week?
