how to explain skipping breakfast

sooo which is it? 300, 500, or 700 burned?
When I go spinning without a HR monitor it tells me I burned about 300 calories. When I use a HR monitor the spinning machine says I burned 700, while my HR monitor says 500. Which one's correct!? I weight 170, am 5'6 and a female. Apparently the machines calculate for a 160lb male.
