new measurements
Are you ready for this I hit my 40 pound mark today and lost a total of 7.25 in. this last month :noway: :noway: :noway: I can not believe it. I thought I was not going to do that well this month since my weight loss has slowed down. I actually gained 1/4 in on my arms but I am hoping that is due to the weight lifting.…

Not sure if this is the right place to post
Since the beginning of using MFP every so often I get the box that pops up and says you have lost 10 pounds since you last modified your goals. Do you want to do this? I used to say yes but then I really don't know what to change. I did up my workout time and times a week last time but it didn't seem to change anything.…

UPDATE on my question from the other day
So I went to see my Dr and they did an EKG and think that I have tachycardia since I had to lay still for the EKG and my rate was still in the mid hundreds. They had me do a lot of blood work and put me on a pill that regulates my hr. This morning was my first pill and I actually do feel a little better like I am not…

question about running
I started working out doing cardio and weights in Jan. I have consistently went 5 or 6 days a week. I started at 40 min now do it about 1 - 1 1/2 hours a day Mondays are twice a day. When I started I would do fairly easy settings on the elliptical and weights but have slowly increased them as time went on. I am using a HRM…

What do you think about this
People are always talking about there is no quick fix for weight loss and then AOL wants to run this story. I feel like it is going to send the wrong message. http://www.aolhealth.com/diet/men-fitness/burrito-diet?icid=main|hp-laptop|dl3|link2|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aolhealth.com%2Fdiet%2Fmen-fitness%2Fburrito-diet

successful vacation
I went on a mini-vacation to Atlanta and went shopping and ate out all weekend. I was careful in my choices but had strawberry shortcake at "The Cheesecake Factory". I felt very guilty and made sure that I worked out at the hotel. (before I wouldn't have cared about a fitness room only the breakfast  ) I was finally…

My Reebok HRM from Buy.com
So I ordered the one everyone else has and I really like it but I have started having an issue. When I am done with my workout I take the chest strap off and wipe it dry and put it along with the watch in my gym bag. So while I am driving in the car I hear it beeping so I pick up the watch out of my bag and it is reading a…

Can't figure it out
I started using my HRM and for the first few days I was burning really good calories according to it but for the last two days I am working really hard and even increased my cardio to 40min on the elliptical and then run 1/2 mile on the track and it is less then before. Is there a reason for this?

I am amazed
So earlier I posted about receiving my HRM I put to use at the gym today. Everyday I put in my info based on the machines and MFP. Well I have probably been burning way more than I put. Today for a 1 hour workout which consisted of 30 min elliptical and 30 min calisthenics I burned 807 according to my HRM. I have been…

My first 1 mile race
I know it doesn't sound like much but I do a lot more on the treadmill and the elliptical everyday but actually running outside in the cold and rain was harder then I expected. I have now decided that I am going to focus on training and run the half marathon in Oct. It is a really big goal but I hope to achieve it.

This might sound weird?
But when I changed my diet, I went cold turkey. I cut out all caffeinated beverages, junk food, anything fried, and most of the time if I eat out it is a salad. So I had lunch out yesterday at a Mexican place and was ok, but then for dinner I pan fried a turkey burger and had some pretzel sticks. All night I was sick to my…

I am having a problem eating my calories
Since I have started using this site and monitoring what I eat I can not bring myself to eat that much. I used to think that 1200 was nothing but now that I watch what I eat it seems like so much plus when they add on 400-600 calories from what I burn in exercise a day. I am ending every night with 600-800 left over. I…

water question
I guess I really didn't know how many ounces were in a cup of water. So I have been consuming 15 cups daily or more. Is this too much water? I definitely drink the most when I am at the gym so I am sure that I probably need it. I was just wondering, thanks in advance for the info.

question about measurements
Since I began on Jan. 12 I have never taken measurements. Is this a better way of seeing how much your losing rather than the scale or both? I know some people say they have lost a couple sizes and I have yet to try on anything new but can tell my clothes are a lot baggier. Thanks for the help Renee

I am a newbie

I recently started Phentermine and have since then started the diet. I am feeling well about how I am doing and really looking forward to some big results in the future. I hope everyone else…
