Long run advice...
Last time I trained for half, I just ran. I brought money with me if I needed to stop in a store to buy water. This time I plan to hide a couple small waters and go back and get bottles (Got smarter). Any other tips? Friends of mine eat Goo or the like. Are those necessary? Checking off your weight for a race
How does this make you feel? I was just signing up for a fall 5K, with my half training, it recommends it. The only one close to me, has an option to choose "Filly" or "Clydesdale" if you are female over 140 and male over 190. It's the first time I have seen this as an option and I've run quite a few races.

Shorts while running
So, I had given up on running shorts because it hurt my thighs. I tried vaseline, but that only helps for first couple miles. That said, I'm heading south in a couple weeks (HOT!), and would like to wear my running shorts. Does Body Glide work? It has good reviews, but figured I'd ask in case you have better suggestions.
