My friend is selling me her Garmin 305, its barely been used but she needs something with a longer batter life for all her ultras. Now it looks like a bit of a monster, but ive been assured its great. Would like some more feedback please.

Problems with nike+ running app

Would you taper for a 10k?
I usually run 3-4 miles (2-3 times) during the week and a long run (10 miles+) at the weekend. Also do insanity twice a week. Do I need to taper for a 10k race? Oh my goodness, I want to do it all over again! Was a fab day! Really cold, i think it was about -2 celcius and then it started snowing! I feel incredibly exhausted if I've run for 10mile plus. Unfortunately, I didnt get a good breakfast today (overslept) so had to use a gel whilst I was out running with my club. Carb loading questions
I was wondering if any of you would carb load for a 10 mile race? It will be my first long distance race, or is it normally for halfs and marathons? I am up to 7.5miles so far and have felt ok, just needed water. I am going to try for 8/9 miles this weekend so i guess that will help me decide. thanks

need friends who eat
Would love to have some more friends who eat.getting discouraged by seeing loads on my friends list on vlcd lose weight whilst my scale is static. However,im sticking to eating more as I feel good and have more energy. Hopefully thescales move soon

I increased my intake just over a week ago as I was starving! Currently doing insanity and have a very active job which involves a lot of walking/ climbing stairs for approx 3-4hrs/day. Eating more has made me so much more energetic than i was. I feel that I am able to workout better and I'm not so tired anymore. FIngers…

Hot weather and food!
Ok so the recent heat wave is really putting me off food which is not good. I love my food! I find that im tending to want to drink loads and loads and food has become more of an after thought.
