  • YourShape: Fitness Evolved. It's really good, has multiple workouts to choose from with difficulties and recommendations. It also tells you on screen how many calories you're burning while you exercise. Not to mention it has DLC you can buy if you get tired of all the other routines, and there's also a second one that just came out recently. YourShape: Fitness Evolved 2012

Zumba Fitness for Xbox Kinect! I love Zumba and at home there's no one to see me when I mess up the steps... lol
  • Santa brought me Yourshape Fitness Evolved 2012 and I just tried it out for the first time. There are several options; warm-ups, legs, arms, back, toning, yoga, running....on an on...

I was sweating and it was so much fun!

I also love Dance Central. It has a work-out mode.

just got Kinect (well, my bro did) and it is a great workout! we have Dance Central 2 (has a Fitness Mode), the Kinect Sports is good (volleyball, and boxing are excellent workouts, and fun with the fam), and the Adventures (it is more geared to kids, but great cool down calorie burner----some of those games are non stop jumping, sidestepping, and ducking----great cardio!).

i hope the get the Just Dance, Dance Central (the first one) and Zumba (i have the one for the Wii...LOVE IT!)

I'm seriously considering buying a xbox+ kinect. I see a couple of my friends burning a lot of calories playing these games, has anybody tried playing these games with a heart rate monitor thing and comparing it to the amount of calories burned that the games tell you you've burned? I don't have a heart rate monitor but just wondered how accurate they were..

I have an old ps2 with a eyetoy the games are pretty old but kinda fun just the old tech camera annoys me as it can be quite finicky with lighting etc.
I play a bit of stepmania with cheapo mats (nothing hardcore just beginner levels and even some of those are too hard lol) but I find these "games" 1000 times more fun and interesting than going for a walk or sitting on the stationary bike.

Sorry this a bit off topic. also interested in which games to buy =)
