Hello

Would love recommendations for some trail shoes. I run with my club 2-3 times a week and my long runs incorporate some trails. So would love to get a better grip as my normal trainers get a bit slippery in the mud. I over pronate and currently wear Asics gel virage 5.

Would love to know what everyone else uses or what you would recommend. Thanks

I don't have good knowledge of fitness shoes... my boyfriend does however (thank goodness), as he works customer service for a company that specializes in athletic shoes. I just asked him and he says Salomon does really good trail shoes and that they are popular purchases for many customers. He said he can't suggest a specific shoe without knowing how you run or what kind of arch you have, but it's a start.

My vibrams have a good grip, although I have not run on trails, I am sure the trekking ones would do...they have water sports ones, running ones, workout ones, etc...

p.s. Merrel Pace gloves look good if you are into minimalist shoes...
