Intolerances identified!
So I have been trying for over a year to lose weight. I have tried eating 500 calories less, 600 calories, 700 calories less than recommended - ranging from 1200 to 1800 calories. I exercise 3-4 times a week, hour long sessions, one with a trainer. She and I were baffled as to why I am not seeing much movement on scales…

When do you stop feeling tired?
That's it... when do you stop feeling tired? I have had 6 days exercise and am sleeping 8 hours. But am so tired when I wake up... Is this body adjusting? Or do you just get used to it when you exercise to feel so sleepy?

Not losing - so decrease calories?
I'm not losing. for 85 days I have lost 7lbs. Something is off. I am much more accurate with my logging now so I am thinking of lowering my Calorie allowance. Its set at 1550 for 1lb a week. So lowering it will be tough, but what else can I do :-(

Cardio effect on weight loss question
Ok, I know to lose weight all you need is to eat less than you need etc.... But do any of you find cardio has helped speed up the weight loss? I don't do a lot of meal planning, and am starting to think it would be beneficial. Problem is I don't enjoy cooking, and don't have a huge range of things I can cook. Is there somewhere you go to to get ideas for meals?

How much water to drink to stop migraines/ EIH?

Thirsty - water not helping?
Hey Does anyone else find sometimes they feel really thirsty but water just isn't doing it. I must have drunk 1 1/2 litres of water so far today (6 hours into my day) and it just isn't quenching my thirst. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

what class?
Hi I don't currently do any classes in the gym. My cardio is restricted to walking, bike riding - out of the gym and then the cardio machines in gym (treadmill/rower/ bike/ elliptical etc). They have quite a range of classes and I don't know whether to take the leap. Do any of you do a regular class? Which do you do? :-)

No weight loss - not hitting net calories?

lacking protein
I struggle to get protein in my diet. I don't eat red meat. Eggs give me migraines. My diet seems to be around 18% protein a day. Would protein shake be beneficial? I shy away from them due to calories but maybe I should factor them in? Confused

All singing and dancing scales v bog standard weighing scales
I need to get a new scales, and am trying to decide which one. Do I spend the extra to get one which also does BMI, memorises what I weighed before? Or just get one that says this is what you weigh? What do you have? Do you find the extra information helpful? Or do you ignore it?

Hi everyone Just been looking at the reports on here. I have looked at my net calories over the last 30 days, and I more often that not am under my net calories. Should I be hitting my net calories, or is being under what I should be aiming for?

Exercise calories - how many to eat back
Hi Just a bit of general advice wanted really I understand the site overestimates calories burned. When you exercise and log it, do you eat back a percentage of what you burned? Or do you have a standard, i.e. 1200 calories non exercise day, 1500 calories exercise day - irrelevant how much exercise you do? Thanks in advance

empty stomach feeling
Ok, so I have been out for a work lunch, and have today eaten around 800 calories... But I have a feeling in my stomach like it is about to rumble. It feels empty. Logging - Map my walk v MFP
Have just started to walk to work, 2.5 miles each way.... Logged it on Map My Walk, which has all the same details as MFP. The calories burned on Map My Walk has it as 333 calories, whereas MFP has them as 241. Why the difference? And which do I use? Thanks

Daily calorie allowance
Hi Do you use the MFP calculation for your daily calorie allowance, or another figure? When I calculate on another site it says I should eat around 1500 calories to lose weight, but on here it is 1200. I am afraid to increase it in case that is wrong. Any advice/ information much appreciated :-)

Too much for workout?
