Having surgery next week - Can't work out!
I'll be MIA for 4-6 weeks.. no exercise at all until 4 weeks and then only light cardio.. no weights at all till 6 weeks! I am so bummed! I only have a few pounds to go till I'm at my goal weight and now I'm benched for almost 2 months! I need encouragement please :smile:

Newbie Intro!
Hello all.. I am brand new to stronglifting, did my first 5x5 workout yesterday and I am feeling it today! I have been doing weight resistance since January but switched over to the 5x5 to try something different. The old routine was getting a little stale. Good luck to you all and happy lifting!

What do I eat???
I have high cholesterol and currently take medication for it. Since joining MFP, I have lost 11 lbs and 5% body fat. My goal is 10 more lbs and 5 more % body fat. Why am I gaining inches??
Hello all! SO I had my measurement done last night for this month and I have lost 2% bodyfat (WOO HOO) and a total of 11 lbs (woo hoo) BUT I gainealmost 2 inches in my waist and 1 inch in my hips from last month??? WHY??? How am I losing fat and weight but gaining inches??? Also posted on Fitness and Motivation.....

Number on the scale vs Body Fat%
So I have been on this journey for a couple of months.. I have lost and overall 2 inches and a little over 2% body fat. My issue is the scale still stays at 157lbs. So I know I have made progress, but the scale not moving is really getting me down. I feel like it should be changing too? Am I in the wrong mindset?

Always sore.. is this normal?
I do strength training 2x a week and cardio 3-4 and I am continuously sore. Is being sore all the time normal after 2 months of working out? How long does this last? I had weights yesterday and then Zumba today and I half butt my way through it because i was so dang sore today.

First Day!
