Why is it harder to lose the weight that has been gained back?
Looking for some science on this fine Monday morning.

Cardio or weights first? Does it matter?
Good morning all, lately my normal gym routine has been a 1 or 2 mile warmup on the treadmill, a 20 minute spot on a stationary bike or an elliptical, and then lifting or leg machines. Someone at my gym told me I shouldn't break it up like that (i should do 40 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical but not both), and that…

Syncing issues with iPhone 5S
My Fitbit syncing with my iPhone is very touch and go, sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. No syncing issues with my iPad Air 2, so I don't think it's a Fitbit issue. Any suggestions on what to do with my phone? Everything is updated software wise.

sushi calorie counts
For all you sushi fans, how do you log rolls? Common rolls like california, yum yum, etc are a dime a dozen in MFP database, but I know my local places have their own rolls. Do you just log each ingredient and guesstimate the amount?

Looking for friends 25-30 with open diaries
We're out of that party every night stage, but not quite at the completely settled down stage either. Let's connect! I'm a 5'7, 180 pound (starting weight 200) female with a desk job. Lowest weight I hit was 172 in September and then it all went downhill. Hoping to get back to my goal weight of 156! I also have a FitBit!

Changing a phone number
Has anyone on here ever changed their wireless cell number? I stupidly entered a drawing at the state fair and now I get 5-6 phone calls a week from random resorts wanting to send me on a timeshare info trip. It's pretty annoying to say the least and I'm thinking of changing my phone number because of it. How does the…

Egg muffins destroying all my pans
I've made egg muffins (mini frittatas for the fancy) a few times before and love how simple and easy it is. But they keep destroying my pans! I've greased them, used liners (huge fail), tried DIFFERENT greasing methods and I can't get these damn pans clean. How do you all do it? I've soaked them for days, tried different…

Watching what I eat has made me "less fun"
GRRRRRRR. Just because I don't down 3 sushi rolls anymore or not always willing to partake in a margarita happy hour doesn't mean I'm not fun anymore. I pick and choose my indulgences. If I want a margarita I will have one, but I don't want a pitcher once a week anymore. If I want sushi, I get ONE roll, and not as often.…

Mexican Casserole (low carb)
I'm not following a keto or paleo diet, but I carb cycle. I made this last night and it's great! 4 cups cauliflower rice 1 jalapeno 1 tsp. cumin 1 tsp. red pepper flakes .5 cup diced tomato 1 cup sour cream 1 cup shredded cheese (i used sharp cheddar) 1 bag frozen pepper and onion mix (kroger brand) 1 pound ground beef (i…

"sugar alcohols removed"
Hello all, I was just at the store replenishing my snack drawer at work and ended up in the candy aisle. Little bags of Russell Stovers were on sale, so I grabbed 2. I just went to grab a serving size (3 pieces) and realized they were sugar free. Oh well. So I pull up MFP and punch in the name and there's a bunch of…

Weight lifting for beginners
Hi all, I'm growing tired of the weight machines at my gym and would really like to venture into the free weight section. The problem is, I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I go to Planet Fitness and there really aren't trainers around, and everyone who IS in the free weight area looks in the zone and I don't want to…

Low carb, but comparable protein and fat
I'm not following a low carb diet, but I generally don't eat too many carb heavy food items like pasta or bread(or at least try not to). It So usually my carb intake is around 10-15%, and then fat and protein around around 40-50% each. I wouldn't say that I've stalled (i'm down 22 pounds in 4 months, from 200 to 178, 5'7…

DailyBurn/ GaiamTV, etc?
Does anyone have a membership with either of these apps (or another one?). I'm interested in trying them out with my Roku. I'd love to join a studio but at $80 a month for the cheapest, plus my normal gym rate, it's a little out of reach for me ATM :blushing: I'm just starting to grow tired of my normal gym routine and…

Purchasing a used Fitbit.
I'm interested in buying a Fitbit One for my regular days (I use a Polar at the gym), but because I'm cheap I'm more interested in purchasing a used Fitbit off eBay or Craigslist. Has anyone had any issues, such as it not syncing to a new account (the one I'd be creating), or just anything in general. Heard great things…
