My progress With a cut and bulk and pics and a deployment
I have been on MFP for a couple of years now. While I am not as active as I used to be (been deployed for 10 months) I have been using it again to post my daily calories and it has me back on track. The pictures below are a cut, then a bulk, and just started a cut again. I would love feedback and honest critiques. Best of…

A long road behind, and ahead.
I have gone from the first pic which was a few years ago to the newest pic at the bottom, which is today. I am currently bulking but I want to maintain a good shape and some definition. I have just started carb cycling. Any other advice? I started at 260lbs... shrunk down to 173 and I am currently back up to about 220 lbs…

Deployed and in need of a new weight lifting routine
I am currently deployed and I am looking for a new weight lifting routine that will add lots of strength and mass. I am not a beginner lifter by any means, just looking for something new to do that has proven results. Any suggestions? Thanks guys and gals.

Weight training and weight loss while deployed
I am currently deployed. I am trying to lose body fat and gain lean muscle. I understand this is difficult especially with the dietary limitations while deployed, but any dieting advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

5 Day exercise program for women
Hey gang. In my continued desire to give back to the MFP community I have posted a 5 day workout plan designed with women in mind who dislike running constantly. That doesn't mean that cardio is not a part of the program. I am a strong believer in eating right and exercising and keeping it simple. If you want, check it…

I want to give back to MFP
Hey guys. Just started a new facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/final.fitness.101 I am available to help anyone design a personalized workout routine. Also going to be helping with diets and answering questions. Eventually there will be video tutorials and website tracking. Hoping to give back to MFP the way it helped…

Putting it out there. Pic heavy
The pics below are from my journey. I have posted before on here, but I have not posted any updates in about 4 months. In that time I have tried adding weight (approximately 20 pounds). Honestly, I can't decide which "me" I like better. Thoughts? The latest ones are below this line and are due to purposeful weight gain in…

From 34% body fat to 4%. Update to old post
I posted the other day but then I got some better pictures. Basically I am psyched about my transformation over the last year and a half. This site has been such a motivating factor for me. I stand ready to help any others in this community meet their goals. Below is a pictorial journey. Like I said, I posted some pictures…

It can be done, I have the pics to prove it.
I am actually below the weight I want to be at. I never thought that would be possible. I am in a weight gaining phase right now. A little over a year ago I was 262 pounds, now I am 172. My goal weight is around 190. The pics below show my progress over the last year. I wish you all the best of luck with your journey. If I…

Medication and weight loss
My question is specifically for medications pertaining to mental health disorders (Bi-polar etc....) Some medications included Abilify and resperidol. The medication has caused weight gain and seems to be very hard to get rid of even though the medications have been discontinued (for positive reasons). This person is…

Thank you MFP an MFP Buddies. Time for me to sign off... (wi
Thank you to everyone over the last few months who have helped me along my journey. I recommend this site to anyone who will listen to me. It is with a heavy heart I must say goodbye.... for now.... to all of my friends here. As my friends here know, I am shipping out with the Army in 2 days. Being 30 years old and…

5 Months in. Honest opinions desired. (Pic Heavy)
Every month I try to take pics and see a difference. Recently I am having trouble seeing a difference but I stick to it anyways. Honest opinions are very much appreciated but I am not just "fishing" for compliments. This site has been amazing for me and I also hope that some of these photos are inspirational to you as…

A workout for your to try
I have been asked a couple of times what I do for a workout. I figured I would post it here and let everyone dissect it and give opinions both good and bad. This might come in useful for others out there, and it will be useful for me to see the critique. I think it is a pretty intense workout, and to explain that, I am…

Weight loss Vs. Muscle gain. What to do? (pic heavy)
So I started my journey at 262lbs. I currently weigh around 203-205. Here is the dilemma. I want to keep putting on muscle and lots of it. But I have a little bit of leftover flab around my stomach (not much at all). Should I adjust my calories so that I am at a maintanance level and keep doing my routine of cardio and…

Wedding in 2 weeks.... need to SHRED.
So... getting married in 2 weeks. Since before I started on MFP I have lost 55 pounds. I am happy with my shape, and I think I can see some muscles, but anyone have any ideas on shredding quickly in the next 2 weeks? I would like to see more veins and tighter skin. This is a long shot I know..... and I am experienced in…

Non Cluttered Before/After pics... Post here....
I have become obsessed with taking and posting pics. I feel like it is the greatest motivation since you can't always see the difference right away. Not much of a difference this month, but I just figured out how to make a collage. Sounds silly, but better than posting 9 pics in a row. There are other forums on here about…

My journey so far (With pics)
So I have been working for a long time now and busting my *kitten* (actually my butt is probably exactly the same size). I started before MFP and I weighed 262 pounds. I am currently rining in at 213ish pounds. I have included a pictorial log of what I feel has been an amazing journey so far. I can see the end in sight. I…

Common Frustration.
So I work out CONSTANTLY. Every day of the week. Some days are better than others. I watch my calories and log everything, save for a few small examples. I feel better, I feel like I am starting to look different, however the scale is not moving south. 1 pound in 2 weeks...... My diary is open if anyone has any ideas. I am…

My fiancee could use some help.
I have been on here for a couple of weeks and I am addicted to this site. It really works and we are already eating much better and doing more excercise. My fiancee has started getting involved in it but she won't ask for people to be her friend. She would love the motivation and support that you all have shown me. Her…

Looking for friends, reciprocal motivation, and photo update
Hello all. I am officially addicted to this site. Please feel free to peruse my diary and logs and photos. I would like to start this thread by asking for friends to help motivate each other. What I find very motivating is before and after and progress photos. I will post my own updates here starting with the photos below.…

The long road ahead....behind..... with pics.
Seems like pictures are a great motivating factor. I have included quite the timeline in this post. Pictures from when I was just 16 years old.... all the way up to present day... at 30 years old. I fell out of shape for a few years as displayed in August of 2011 but I think I am on the right track now. It is difficult to…

Still Stuck
Not gaining....not losing. I have been working out hard for over a month. I have only been on this site for about a week. Can someone take a look at my diary and tell me what I might be doing wrong? I ran pretty much the same routine 10 years ago when I was in the police academy and the weight melted off. Now I am stuck at…

Having a Cheat day
I have been working out relentlessly (7 Days a week) in preperation for my stint with the Army. Being 30 years old makes it a little more difficult to keep up with the kids. I have what I consider to be a decent diet. (Check out my regime if you like). What I am curious about is having a "cheat" day. Should one really have…

Stuck
So here it is. I am 30 years old. I used to be in fantastic shape. I was a police officer and a year round soccer player. Unfortonetly when I left the police field and join the restaurant industry I have packe don the pounds. Life change. I have joined the Army and need to get in shape by October 11th. I have been running…
