Hey everyone...I am officially addicted to Leslie Sansone's walking DVDs...I just received my second set from eBay, so of course I had to see what else I could find...anyway, I searched for Leslie Sansone, and one of the "hits" was a Leslie Sansone woman's walking DVD with 28 days worth of Nutrisystem foods..the price…

Okay seriously...what?!?
So, Friday I went over my calories by about 400...first time this week I went over...and the days that I didn't go over this week, I usually had a few calories left ofter that when added together would cover that 400...yesterday I spent most of my morning in the sun walking around...and I stayed within my calories...this…

Blew it yesterday...had "fair" food today...and stayed in my
After going way over my calories yesterday, I was sure I wouldn't get to have any food at the Corn Festival that I went to today...however, I wore my heart rate monitor and found out that I burnt 1267 calories in the five hours that I was walking around looking at everything...I got to have a Cheesesteak Sub and it was so…

Burnt 863 calories in exercise today and still went over!
Ohmigosh I could just bawl. I had Subway for lunch...got the low cal Light Lemonade to drink, had a tuna sub because I was craving it so bad...and the apple slices on the side...it was a high calorie lunch but I thought it was okay...until my mom decided we were getting pizza for dinner...I know I could have ordered…

I had THREE hot dogs for dinner and stayed in my calories
I haven't had a hot dog since I started MFP because I thought they were all terrible for you...but tonight for dinner I had three 40 calorie hot dogs (my mom found them at Wal-Mart for me...Oscar Mayer 98% fat free turkey dogs) with sauerkraut, low sodium ketchup, and onions on one bun (I rolled it out with a rolling pin…

Fair food challenge...who is up to it?
Okay friends...I am going to a local festival this weekend...and while I want to stay within my calories for the day, I want to have a bit of fair food...I am posting the link to the list of vendors below...anyone want to help me pick the healthier options that won't sabotage my whole day but give me a feeling that I had…

My mom says this is tacky...but I'm too excited not to share
I put on my prom dress today...and it fit! I was very heavyset in high school, so my prom dress is a plus sized dress...I graduated in 2002, and a few years ago I tried on my prom dress in the hopes of wearing it to a military ball with my then husband...but it didn't fit...not even close...with the 25 pounds that I've…

Is it just me...or...???
Are the remaining calories different on the "My Home" page and in the actual food diary? They are always different by one calorie, not a huge deal of course cause one little calorie won't affect anything, but do you guys notice that or am I losing it?

Sunday morning weigh in...down 7%
Okay if I have done my math right (which I very possibly may not have lol) I have lost 7% of my starting weight! I took 7% of my body off! Woohoo! That means I have reached 13% of my goal! So excited! This kind of math is fun!

Who knew? (lengthy but interesting)
Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it. Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster. Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much…

You know you're a MFPer when...
Okay, so you know you're a MFPer when you are eating healthier and are exercising more, but what are some of the other clues that you are definitely a MFPer? The one I just noticed today is that I have TAN LINES from my HRM! I never wore watches, nor did I spend much time outside in the summer time (too hot), but now I am…

Someone take away my credit card!
Ohmigosh...so I am addicted to Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds Express DVD...but I am getting kind of burnt out doing the exact same workout every day...I know it's not great for my weight loss, and it's also not as fun when I know exactly what she's going to say next...so I just got on eBay and bid on two different…

so disappointed...can't be "fun, fit, and fabulous"
Okay, so I saw this commercial on tv for a "Fun, Fit and Fabulous" conference for women. I'm thinking...sign me up! I went to the website and got so excited that it was only $15, and that included lunch (which I'm sure would be healthy since it's a fitness conference) and a full day's worth of lessons and speakers and free…

1200 calories for everyone? Banks (and others)...I gotta qu
Okay, just as an experiment one day, I clicked on the "complete logging for today" button right after breakfast (when I had only eaten 200 or so calories) and it said I need at least a minimum of 1200 calories. My question is, how was 1200 calories determined to be the default for everyone? Won't the actual minimum number…

Teriyaki Chicken (please forgive me if this is a repost)

And if it didn't originally come from…

What "tricks" do you play on yourself to keep on track?
Okay, so over the past few weeks of diet and exercise, I am finding myself playing a bunch of tricks and mind games with myself to keep myself focused and on target. Do you guys have any? Here are some of mine: When I am getting tired during my work out, I always ask myself, "If getting to my goal weight depended on…

I am so discouraged I could just cry -- sodium!
I know there is another post about sodium floating around on the boards, but I am just so frustrated and needed to vent a bit. Please forgive me lol. I have been a member of this site for a few weeks now, and I feel like I am making so many great improvements. Now that I am actually aware of the calories in the things I…

Heart Rate Monitor
Okay, I had never heard much about heart rate monitors until I joined this site, and now I'm thinking I probably need to get one. What exactly is a heart rate monitor? How do you wear one? (Most that I've been looking at just look like a watch but say something about a chest belt or something like that). What information…

Question...may be too much information...please help
Okay, this is kind of awkward, but I need to see if this is normal. I have been counting calories and watching what I eat for a few weeks now, and I am noticing that I am having frequent diarrhea (I warned you this might be TMI :blushing: ) Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just my body flushing out the bad foods…
