Weights/recovery
I've just started weights, but it's taking 2-4 days to recover after a session. I cant remember if this is normal or if I'm pushing too hard?

ive just got the book and im eager to start, however id rather use the gym as i feel i wont do it at home. my problem is i dont know how to use some of the equipment needed and im being a huge wimp and darent ask. anyone else as lame as me? :(

muscle,fat,weight+measurments
first of all i know 1lb of fat and muscle are the same. my question is, if a person gains muscle while losing weight could they weigh more but be smaller measurement wise than some one who lost weight but hasnt gained muscle? its always been a question i cant get my head around

forever changing their Goal weight? When i first started i thought 119Lbs would be a good goal. As i reached it i thought another 7 was necessary making me 112. Now ive reached it i still see potential for improvement and my body fat% is still 25%. Is it a slippery slope of nothing being good enough? any thoughts similar…

Fitness goals
Ive stuck to my new lifestyle for the last year now and im nearly at my goal weight, so i decided to start focusing on fitness goals instead, but apart from running times and distance i cant think of any other ideas. anyone else working toward fitness goals?

muscle vs fat +overall weight
not sure completely how to phrase this, but ive weighed 116lbs for a month approx now, but my body fat is going down and muscle mass going up. is this the reason for the stuck weight?

I love working out and esp using the weights, but my legs(mostly calves) are starting to look a little bulky. i dont want to stop using weights, what do i do? use lower weights? any help appreciated :)

im trying to eat a healthy and sustainable diet that i can stick to long term however im always over on carbs, do i ignore this as im eating well and losing weight regardless or try to cut down?

do i really burn such a pathetic amount of calories :(
I know it comes down to height,weight and hr? i think but its so disappointing to work my *kitten* off at the gym for a hour and half and burn 450 calories when other people can burn 450 in 30 mins, sigh :(

advice wanted r.e body fat/muscle%
now ive lost more then half of what i wanted ive started focusing more on body fat/ muscle mass. I was wondering if anyone out there knows whats a good muscle mass for me? im 4'10 and 123lbs at the moment my current muscle mass is 36.6 and body fat 29.5 if that helps!

who knows how calories burned through exercise are calculated? is it by age? hr? or weight? or is there a formula including all of them. Im just unsure how many to log, as exercise machines are telling me one thing and my hr another(although hr isnt a chest strap one so i know its not too accurate) any help would be…

Have measured my waist today and ive gained 2inches in a week, someone please tell me its pms or a alien baby. My weights the same as are all other measurments. Please help a crazy neurotic :)

happy realisation
Ive just had a very happy realization, after just finding out im not getting paid today..GRRR my first though was ' i cant wait to get to the gym and thrash out some anger' much better than running to the kitchen or takeaway like i usually would have done!

does flavoured water count in daily goal? i drink slightly sparkling spring water, no artificial colours or flavours. 16cal per 1 litre. 2g carbs. anyone know??
