first of all i know 1lb of fat and muscle are the same.
my question is, if a person gains muscle while losing weight could they weigh more but be smaller measurement wise than some one who lost weight but hasnt gained muscle?
its always been a question i cant get my head around

If they gain muscle and lose fat they can be smaller measurement-wise but heavier on scale. They look and measure smaller as muscle takes up less space compared to the same amount of muscle.0
