HRMs are not dead on accurate. The longer you wear them, the more the inaccuracy will accumulate. For example, say it over estimates by 20 calories per hour, if you wear your HRM for 12 hours, that 240 calories extra. Also, they generally are not made to be worn at rest and will greatly overestimate during this time.
Another thing is that because you are so close to your end goal, you should probably have your weight loss set to .5 lb per week. Along with that is that you should be eating your exercise calories so that you stay at a net 1200 calories for the day. Many people have found that eating more has allowed them to lose more (I am one of those).
But to answer your original question, your calculation is correct, but the numbers are probably lying.0 -

I love math (I have a math minor), so that's the fun part for me.0 -
Hi there!
I'm amtually inpressed you and I are the same size and have the same goals. I've been counting my calories for about 8 months now, and it was working for the first 5 months.. I actually got down to 132, but hit a stand stll. I then started gaining.. this was durign the time I was paying more attenting to my exersize. I joined the gym, and now I'm back to 145!!!! OMG! I cant complain.,. My chothes still fit, but according to my personal trainer I should have NEVER done 1100 colories. He bumped up my calorie intake to 2100 and says that I had put my body in "survival mode". I wanted to share this because I saw your goals and its really dissapointing to see that scale go up. Make sure your counting right and eating right.0
