Can sitting or lying right after a meal makes your tummy big
I know we need to walk or stand a little right after a meal to digest our foods better but many told me that sitting or lying down right after a meal will make my tummy bigger. I usually eat around 8pm & go to sleep at 10pm but I'm having hard time getting sleepy so its why I need to be on my bed 2 hours before I sleep…

What do you like about this site aside from getting fit?
For me this are: 1. I get to meet new people 2. I learn more on other people's cultures. While I also learn cultures thru making friends in facebook or in my MSN but honestly I find people here more respectable. 3. I learn new terms or words such as stone (a unit of measurement), WTG (way to go), NSV (non-scale victory),…

I keep on seeing my friend's posts & other posts here that says they lose 2 stones or they weigh 10 stones etc. Many times I can't figured out exactly how much they lost since I grew up knowing only kgs & lately lbs. so I have no idea what is a…

MENSTRUATION AND STRENGTH TRAINING
Sorry guys you may need to take a backseat for a while, hehehe (just kidding). I'm just wondering if it is OK to lift weights during your period especially if its in the first day & w/ a mild cramp. If NO, then how many days should I wait before I can lift weights again? I heard before that you are not supposed to lift…

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF "THE BIGGEST LOSER"?
The show gained its worldwide popularity (we even have our own edition of The Biggest Loser here in my country) especially in addressing the ever increasing obesity epidemic. In my opinion, while the show has some good points such as creating inspiration & hope that anything is possible, accountability & social support,…

Am I training my muscles too much?
Hi, I've been successful in reaching my goal weight & now I'm concentrating more on my strength training exercises. I read somewhere that it takes several days for our muscles to fully recover. Currently I do my workouts 6 days a week with circuits for 1 hr. 3 days a week. I do my circuits every other day. Also I…

Exactly 10 years ago, we celebrated our grandparent's golden wedding anniversary & at that time, I weighed 114 lbs., waist was 28-29 inches. I wore a golden gown with a size M (the smallest gown I ever had). Well, this coming October we will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary but we already consider it as diamond…

I want to get out of the 25% BF range :'(
I've been doing cardio & resistance training for a long time but I don't understand why everytime I check online body fat calculators, I always get results saying I'm 25.7% which is in the acceptable range. I wanted to be around 21-24% which is classified under fitness/healthy range. Since I reached my goal weight, I now…

NO EXCUSES
There is no excuse For being too busy As we have the power To adjust ourselves There is no excuse For having a condition As we have the power To manage it There is no excuse For having fat genes As we have the power To do something about it There is no excuse For being a large-framed person As there is no such a thing As a…

Down from XXXL to M & an improved health
Its been 3 months since I first posted my weight loss success. Although my scale do budged down a lot but I feel my true victory is not in terms of my scale numbers but in improving my health. Fat Calories
I've been over my daily fat needs these past few days although I still pretty much stay under my calorie goal. The fats come mostly from salmons & olive oil from my salad dressings, not from the bad sources. Is it alright to be over the fat goal while still staying on total daily calorie goal?

Hi lately I've been having a hard time dishing out all that "body trash". Normally my body gives me signals every morning but lately my body doesn't give me those signals anymore or perhaps only once a week.
