Body asymmetry

Calorie inaccuracies on labels
Could this be part of the reason some people lose or don't lose with specific calorie restrictions? I knew there could be about a 20% margin of error with the caloric content of food and maybe this is why it can be different for each individual. Wrong numbers and different amounts being absorbed.
