I've been staying within my caloric limit but going way over on my carbs and sugars, only because of fruit...do you think this will affect my weight loss?

as long as you are staying within your limits, going over on macros because of fruit is not a problem! the values in the macros are basically minimum suggestions and not absolute limits.
fruit is a MUCH better way to get sugar/carbs than simple sweets because the fruit has fiber that helps to offset the sugar spikes that the fruit might give you.0 -
That's awesome! I love fruit but have always been concerned about the amount of carbs they provide. Thanks.0

I agree with the other posts. These limits are guidelines and you have to do what works for your body. That being said if you find that you are not losing weight then cut back...if you are losing weight then eat on!0

No. Eat your fruit. Fruit is awesome. Fruit is healthy. Fruit is great in a balanced eating plan. Heaven forbid we get so hung up about carbs and sugars and such that we start avoiding fruit in our normal everyday diets!

I'm restricting my sugar intake but I still eat fruit - I'll generally stick with the lower sugar varieties like berries or peaches on a daily basis, but when I'm having a heavy lifting day I'll have bananas or mangoes (LOVE mangoes!) if I want them.
Keep enjoying your fruit! I'm about to tuck into a whole box of blueberries, yum...0 -
Well now I can't wait for the fruit truck to get here!!
Fortunately I am not diabetic so I guess that eliminates the concern there.
Plus you are totally right, it's working for me now so why change it until I need too?0 -
I pretty much only eat fruit, veg and beans/pulses. It hasn't done me any harm Keep on keeping on!0

No - well no, unless it's crazy amounts sugar is sugar at the end of the day - but if you are going to eat a lot then fruit is the best source.
Log it and enjoy it.0 -

It's only a potential problem if it comes at the expense of other important nutrients (protein and fats). Other then that all I will say is enjoy your fruit!0 -

Thanks for your answers.
I'm keeping up with the protein (usually) and the fats, well I'm getting that from coconut oil and nuts.
The sugar and calories from the fruit definitely doesn't make my body feel crappy like chocolate and other sweets.0
