Lifting shoes
I am in the market to buy some lifting shoes. And to be honest I know zero about them. Are they like runners and I need to buy them bigger than my dress shoes? Any suggestions on brand? I have noticed that their are a wide range of prices, are the more expensive ones worth it or I am I paying for a name?

Recommiting
Ok I'm recommitting. I am prepping today and starting tomorrow (but I still am keeping it as grain and sugar free as possible). I feel amazing on paleo but cannot keep it together. Any suggestions on keeping it together? I think my biggest problem is I'm very all or nothing (and I'm very addicted to sugar.)

Other gyms
Just out of curiosity, how many of you have another gym membership on top of crossfit? Do any of you do any other lifting programs other than crossfit (strong lifts or NROL4L)? I've kicking around getting a regular gym membership so I can work out on my lunch too.

I find I get blisters under my callouses, then thet rip open. Is there a way to prevent this? Would it be better use a pumice stone and file them?

Crossfit weight gain
Everyone said don't be surprised if the scale goes up when starting crossfit. Well I'm 6 weeks in and up 9 pounds. I'm getting a little discouraged. How much did you gain? Does it ever start going the other direction? I'm feeling quite pissy right now about it.
