Does anyone else have this issue?

This may be a TMI post especially for guys. Years ago I was diagnosed with PMDD. Basically severe PMS. I can tell you the day I ovulate, just looking at the scale and my moods. 2 weeks before my period, the scale jumped about 5 pounds and stays until my TOM. And I go have being a happy go lucky positive person but a really could care less about anything *****. I do so much damage to my weight loss efforts in those 2 weeks. Cutting grains and sugar really does help but it is really hard to stick with when you don't give a rats *kitten*. Has anyone else have this problem, any solutions?

I have a friend who have PMDD, the best way she found to control her symptoms was to change her birth control to a ...um...hormone implant? I'm not sure what it's called in english.
