  • Do you shave your callelous as well as file them? I find the more I go the more I have to shave mine down and then file them smooth.
  • Following, I have issues with the heat too.
  • Ugg, I'm sorry that sucks. But there is not a women alive who hasn't experienced it sneaking up on us.
  • My robo-stirring. I only use it a few times a year. But anything that needs to be stirred constantly, I clean the kitchen while it stirs itself.
  • Do you have any colleges with an exercise physiology program? If so (which all the colleges in Boston, I image there is one), look into them, likely they will have bodpods or something similar.
  • I so want a King Kong bag. But they are so expensive. I have a cheap target bag and a couple of cinch sacks for they extra shoes.
  • I starve at 1800 calories. Well I got my bodpod done last week. I have 140 lbs of LBW, that puts my RMR at 1900. Well that's why I couldn't do 1800 calories. If you haven't yet, get tested. Bodpod are typically $25.00.
  • ^^ Thank you. Between your recommendation and the 30 days money back guarantee, I bit the bullet and joined. I'm awaiting for approval. I'm a bit nervous as I am a big girl (ie I have weight to lose) however I want to gain muscle first and foremost.
  • In a WOD I do step ups. In skill building, I work on the jumps. With that said, I have to scale most of the WOD. I am still 80 pounds overweight, and any jumps are a hard of my knees. With that said, I don't mark it RX if I do step up in place of jumps.
  • Ok so, I got a $100.00 amazon card through work. I ordered the Women's Inov-8 FastLift. I talked to the lifting coach and she recommend those or the Adipower for me. They were cheaper and better looking. Hopefully, they fit, if not there is alway Amazon returns. Thanks for the info.
  • Could it be from tight calves? I have to roll my calves constantly with a pvc pipe or rumble roller to keep my achilles and/or plantar fasciitis for acting up. As well, a soft tissue injury can take 6 to 12 weeks to heal.
  • Welcome. I have dabbled in Paleo for quite some time. You are not finding an exact answer on how much because everyone is different. There are a lot of people on this board how are low carb/high fat (50 to 75% of calories from fat.) I myself tried this many times and it just did not work. I have found I respond best when…
  • Thanks all! I have size 11 skiis, I mean feet, so I may have to go with men's if they run small.
  • I was talking to the coach about it. Eventually they will have the tv screens but evidently you can download the app. When you log your workout on the app, the info will go to them and you can see statistics ect. It sound pretty neat. We will also be able to see a schedule of who is teaching and basic skills being done.
  • Hello, I joined a bit late. I'm Adele, I am a 38 year old who lives in Columbus, Ohio. I found paleo in November 2012. I am not as consistent as I need to be, but I come back to paleo as i feel so amazing! I would like to lose 80 pounds but my main goal is becoming more healthy and fit. I started my reset yesterday and on…

  • Actually, I got a free pass code and didn't pay anything. But I am hoping to find others on MFP that are doing it too.

  • I am in, but since my beloved Buckeyes are playing in the Sugar Bowl (and I fear it will not be a good game for us, so I might need copious amounts of alcohol), I will be starting on the 2nd.
  • I love this and need this right now!
  • For my face, I use the oil cleansing method (right now I'm using avocado oil w/ a touch of castor oil) about 2 to 3 times a week. The other days, I just get it wet in the shower. I do use commercial shampoo though.
  • Thank you, for some reason this really reasonated with me. I have not been perfect but I have been better!
  • They were all were you are before. If you give it all, they don't care how long it takes, how many times you cry or how you struggle, they will cheer you on. That is crossfit, and why it is wonderful. Plus when you do this WOD or a similar one in a month or so you will be so proud at how much better you have gotten. PS…
  • I was over 250 until last week!!!!  I started MFP at about 270 3 years ago. I lost 60 pounds (about half on paleo). My Mom lost her fight with cancer last year. For the past 18 months I have strayed from paleo and gained back nearly 50 pounds. So on August 31, I recommitted to paleo and I'm down 10…
  • The only thing I have to add is to document your reactions and what "heals" itself while on primal. It helps when you are tempted to cheat to remember how was felt.
  • You look incredible!!!
  • Everyone is different. But CF actually helped by PF. My awesome coaches taught me how to mobilize. My PF was due to tight calf muscles, and during a flare up I lacrosse ball roll the crap out of the bottom of my feet. Good luck but my advice talk to your coaches.
  • I can do 100 burpees in 8:09 and 50 burpees in 3:57. So 24 in a minute is awesome in my book.
  • How is eating whole real (by real I mean non-processed) foods a fad? People have been eating "real" (see prior defination) for thousands of years. SMH

  • I have done Whole 30 three times in the past. I actually plan on starting a new one this coming weekend (I was originally going to do Saturday but just realized Monday is an US holiday, so I may do Tuesday I may not.) If you are already low carb, a transition into W30 won't be hard. Likely, the hardest thing you will…
