    After two days of climbing we decided to spend most of yesterday on more level ground. One more steep trail planned for today before we have to head back home.

    Added 5 more miles for an August total of 114.25 miles.

    @kar328, Hey girl I just want to say my heart goes out to you & your loss. Pet's become your children & it hurts to see them go. I have never had a bird but I'm sure you can attached to them just like we do our 4 legged pets. HUGS!

    Well I am back at school & once again it is busy & HOT! Since posting I have moved 35.25 miles from walking (the walks around the lake was awesome last weekend) & from the ex bike.

    Adding 24 miles for 24 out of 360. Yes, I upped it from 350 to 360.

    @Clepant - Hope everything went well.

    Walked w/DH this morning then got on the bike for 56 mins and some Ray Donovan then did some yoga then went to play w/our grandbaby!! A good Monday!

    Aug. 29: I was wiped out my whipped but then again perhaps someone whipped me. Either way yesterday knocked the stuffin' out of me. And the long hours begin as I scramble to catch up at school.
    Adding 15.5 miles if cycling 10 and walking 5 miles.

    Thanks for the added posts. Exercise is good, but I just lost it out on the trail when the nearby geese flew overhead making all their noise. Merlin would always try to answer them and I'd be telling him "they can't hear you!" while under the covers since it's usually really early.

    2.4 mile walk today. More house repairs scheduled, so I had to cut it short

    Took one more hike out to Chimney tops before leaving for home yesterday. I did not make it all the way to the top but I did scramble part of the way up the rocks to get a better view. Today is finishing the drive home and getting ready for work tomorrow. (Boo :'( ) @Dave The leg is holding up surprisingly well. I haven't given it a chance to completely heal, but I don't think I have done any further damage either.

    Added 6.5 miles for an August total of 120.75 miles. I will make goal but that darn leg injury made it closer than I expected.
