Is 115 pounds a good goal weight for a 5’4” female?
I currently weight 273 pounds. My goal weight is 115 lbs. I chose this goal weight because when I used to weigh 145 pounds years ago, and I still had a stomach. I want a flat stomach and I want to be able to fit in small outfits. I plan on getting gastric sleeve next year. I will also work out and eat healthy.

Calorie deficit counter
Please this is very important I think for a lot of people. I do not want to see how many calories I still have to eat during the day, I just want to see simple and clear resting calories + active calories - calorie intake = calorie deficit. I counted it like this with my previous device and it worked perfectly, with you…

Lost 50# been here but never posted
I've been using my fitness pal for years but never used this feature. I live remotely so have a home gym only. I am female in my early 50's and lost 50's over the last 2.5 years. I'm finding no one is really that excited for you (like you are) when you lose weight. I don't want to post pictures on social media as I'm not…

Anything on the menu?
When I first hit the trails running on a diet I read certain items should be removed, like bread or grain items but now I understand that anything can be on the menu just so long as you control your intake. For example there was a guy named John Cisna who went on a McDonald's diet, he wrote about it in My McDonald's diet,…

Keto and vegetarian diet
I have dropped 10 lbs so far, weight 290, changing my life style. Want to weigh healthy weight and not be obese. Would like to run eventually. Exercising 45 minutes a day, at least. Would like to add weights. Have rower and recumbent bike. Could use support, meal ideas or follow my weight loss. Am also, diabetic type 2,…

Calculating Macros
In the past I have liked high protein macros. A few years back I went to a bariatric doctor, where I also spoke to a dietitian. The plan they put me on according to a friend who does body building was equivalent to around 1200 calories a day. I did a plan like this years ago and fell of fast and gained even more. In…

Help and advice needed with weight loss!!
I’ve been a calorie deficit since August and I’ve lost 21 pounds. I got down to 125 which is just 5 pounds off from my goal weight; however, once I updated my weight in the app it started to add more calories but not enough to where I wouldn’t still be in a deficit. I have since gained two pounds back and I haven’t been…

My Latest Weight Loss Journey
I recently went to the doctor and I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I am sure I am pre diabetic too. I am 51 years old, 207lbs, and 6'1". Just under the obese mark. Best Diet for Long Term
Hey everyone 👋 I was wondering which diet I should follow and which one also works best for me. There's so many. I was thinking of a simple vegetarian diet. But tbh I give in to meat and poultry a bit easily. Anyways, does anyone have any diets they recommend or dislike (:

It's me -again! Now down 32.4 pounds (Day 82) and in Love :)
The scale showed 315.6 lbs this morning. I have lost 32.4 pounds since September. I am all smiles. I have started to take pictures of myself. Not too pretty, but very honest. I will be a success story, so I will need them. :-) I am sugar-free (no added sugar), and the other day, I decided to eat the old soy yogurt that had…

Add a negative
Let us remove items, it could simply be searching for the item and adding it as a negative. Let’s say I go to a restaurant and the meal I got already exists in the large database of options. Woo! BUT I got it with no mayo, or I didn’t eat about half a cup of rice.. so if I could just simply search mayo and “subtract” 2…

I'm so hungry!
I'm not meeting my calorie deficit goals very well, but I'm still starving. Nearly 700 calories over the other day and I was still so hungry. Today I'm starving unto feeling like I'm going to throw up after dinner and already over my calorie goal. I'm breastfeeding, but that should only be around 300 extra calories. I…

Fell off-track, back because my smartphone finally supports MyFitnessPal.
Hi I'm Amanda. I changed to a vegan lifestyle a little over six months ago and just started college in September. Eating and exercising were a lot easier before college started but MyFitnessPal was a helpful tool for success during a different phase of my fitness journey. It felt good to swim today and get, it actually…
