Weight loss without, or with limited, physical activity.
Hi there. I've struggled with weight loss over the last 3-4 years, mostly due to medical/physical health issues. As a result, the amount of physical activity I could do is limited to none. I'd lose a pound or two, then gain... or remain at a stable weight, then gain... and gain. Life happens, etc. Well now, between May…

Why does My Fitness Pal use a projection of daily exercise instead of real-time?
I am more active in the mornings with cardio and strength exercise. It seems like MyFitness Pal projects a whole day's exercise calories based on my early morning activities with my Fitbit Versa4 and then throughout the day it adjusts downward to my actual exercise calories. This messes with my daily tracking. Does anyone…

Returning MFP user
Hello everyone, Lawrence here. I joined MyFitnessPal back in 2012 when I weighed 95 kg (202 lbs). Through exercise, proper diet, and the help of this app, I managed to lose weight, eventually reaching around 68-70 kg (149-155 lbs). And yeah I was on my 20's that time. However, over the years, I reverted to my old habits…

Is exercise added to the calorie goal?
I put in my information and, assuming its all correct as ill question the numbers separate from this question, I have a calorie goal of 1680. If i then do 45 mins of walking cardio at 3.5mph and I burn 240 calories. Does my calorie intake goal then go up to 1920? I do 45mins of this cardio 6 days a week... so essentially…

What It Has Taken
What it's taken for me to finally get on the right path after years - no, decades - of struggling, starving, trying on my own, getting injured, quitting, losing momentum, starving myself ... It took me hitting rock bottom, meaning, stepping on that scale and vowing to face the number, and then, reorganizing my entire life.…

Brooks Runners
Firstly, I aspire to be a runner. Currently I carry too much weight and in an aging body I am overly cautious about joint damage. I danced and played soccer ⚽️ all my youth, went back to play a season around age 45 at my heaviest weight because if I couldn’t move for something I loved I might as well be dead. I lived…

I try to force myself to eat well rounded meals, protein and carbs immediately after…

How do you manage exercise with migraines?
I am wondering how people manage exercising if they suffer from migraines? I’m barely managing just working a job, which makes it really hard to exercise and risk bringing on more migraines. (I know some people say exercise helps migraines, but it does the opposite for me). This is probably a question with no definitive…
