Can’t connect Garmin or Withings
Are any other Garmin users having difficulty connecting Garmin Connect to MFP? On my Garmin app it shows it’s connected, but on MFP it doesn’t show connected and doesn’t change no matter how many times I try to connect. Same thing with the Withings smart scale app. Please let me know if you’ve had similar issues and if…

Garmin Connect Frustrations
Hi Guys, I don't understand how to show active calories of my garmin connect in myfitnesspal instead of 'exercise' it is currently showing me which are basically the exercises + a steps calorie adjustement that I don't understand. If my watch can tell myfitnesspal the actual and real active calories from my workouts and…

Garmin watch for tracking?
Hi everyone, I have been considering getting a Garmin watch to replace my fitbit bit but I have a couple questions. If you have a garmin watch, how has it been for tracking your running and other fitness activities? Have you had issues connecting it to my fitness pal? How has your watch held up? I am a heavy equipment…

Garmin Epix Pro VO2 Max vs Training Readiness
I am 58 years old, and I have not been active since hip replacement surgery a couple years ago. But I've played tennis about 4 days per week this summer, and I usually get in 10,000+ steps per day. I'm still probably 15 lbs overweight. That sounds active enough, but I used to run 6 miles every day. Those days are over.…

I’ve been off and on here
I went into my closest the other day and realized I don’t fit into a lot of my clothes that I used to. I understand that’s normal and that’s life. But in this economy I cannot afford to buy a whole new wardrobe. Therefore, that is my main motivation that I need to lose 25lbs. ( it was 30 but I already lost 5lbs yay!! But…

Hello, new friends!
Hi everyone! I just joined not even a week ago. I wanted to take more control of my life and my eating habits. I feel like I have an unhealthy relationship with food. I've used it to cope with anxiety and depression. In the last 2 years it's gotten bad and I feel as if it's become an addiction. I just want to start taking…

Hiya!
SW: 240 lbs GW: 150 The pandemic brought me 80 pounds (over the course of 3 years) and a lot of struggling with self-image. It took me a while to understand that trying to go back to old ways weren’t going to work for this new “era”, so here I am. I do have a question: how in the world did 6000+ steps earn me another 2300…

Bubbles
I just found the search bubbles on the android app. Interesting. I am thinking about coming back to MFP, but I haven't warmed to their fancy new interface yet. It might work better, however initially I found it off putting so I've not taken the time to become more familiar with it. --Chris

MFP adds training twice.
Everytime I finish my weight training, which is traced by my Garmin watch, MyFitnessPal adds it to my daily area twice. Once as a weight training and again as a generic aerobics. My question is, if it is a mistake and I should delete one of the entries, or if it is on purpose (maybe to count calories burnt automatically by…

The Final Push
Hello everyone! I’m new to MFP, although I’ve played around with it in the past. I had been using Noom for most of a year. I lost 25 lbs but had leveled off for a couple months about 10-15 lbs above my goal. I decided to shake things up by switching to MFP to make my final push to achieve my goal. I am an avid cyclist, so…
