Garmin Connect connected but won't select for Steps

I've connected my Garmin and MFP accounts but when I try to select GC as the app to get my step count from, it just brings me to the screen to sync accounts again and it already shows the account is connected.

There's no option to do anything further, or actually choose it as a device for my steps.
