Once lost 15 kg, now I'm back for more
I lost 15 kg by counting calories but thyroidism had ruined everything before I realized! Now I want to lose 20 kg or so in a reasonable amount of time, say a year. Already lost 5 kg in 30 days on the app but looking for more until I hit my best weight!

Feed and friends!
Hi all - long time MFP user without anyone to cheer for and my newsfeed is pretty boring. 39/M trying to get rid of the dad bod once and for all, lifting weights, living my best life. I'd love to have my friends feed full and lively. Give me a friend request if interested!

Trying again
Turning 50 this year and need to do something about all this extra weight. I have a hard time tracking consistently - I know all the things I should be doing but actually doing them consistently is hard. I hate when I go to doctor and it says "obese" on the form. I know I eat when stressed and eat when sad and eat when…

Calorie/macro counting
Hiiii everyone!! This might be a useless question but while logging should I log ground chia and ground flax that I’m putting in my morning water? I have issues with regularity :/ (sorry too much info) hence using this now to see if will work! Point is lol should I log this I’m not taking the full amount of 2 tbps spoons…

Not able to loose weight ?
"Despite exercising daily for an hour, adopting intermittent fasting for the past three days, and maintaining a balanced diet with occasional homemade junk food, my weight remains unchanged at 69.70 kilograms. Any insights into why I'm not seeing any weight loss progress?"

Coming back to weight loss, need friends for tough talk and support.
Hi I lost over 5 stone about 3 years ago using a rival food logging app (take a guess which one) but let myself slip massively and put back on 6.5 stone since then, i made an active decision to start losing weight and get fitter after being barely able to walk due to altitude and lack of fitness on a recent ski holiday, so…

How do I make the calories goal stop being adjusted?
I noticed with any physical activity I do that causes me to burn calories, my calorie goal always increases allowing me to eat more calories. How I do stop this from changing? For example I only want to eat 1,500 calories a day but when I burn calories my app jumps to a 1,700 calorie goal just because I have that extra…

Should I worry about a plant fat heavy diet?
Fatty foods are the only foods that really satiate me. I used to eat a lot of garbage, but over the past year, I've switched to mostly plant-based, unsaturated fats (nuts, peanut butter, avocados, high-quality olive oil, etc.). I eat a moderate amount of cheese and eggs (maybe every other day?) and meat when I can afford…

Weight loss progress not updating?
So I’ve been on plan a week… in a healthy deficit all week and as a result I’ve lost 2kgs in my first week - you best believe I logged that drop so quick I almost tripped up running to the app. I added it feeling proud! When I nipped on later to log food I notice that my newsfeed updated the change for my friends to see…

For weight loss, do you eat back the calories you've burned?
I've heard mixed answers before and was wondering what the general consensus is.

Not New… but returning ♥️
Well it’s been more than a hot minute since I tracked every morsel that went in to my mouth… and at my fittest and healthiest when I last embarked on a weight loss journey I was 5stone lighter than I am currently. Sadly life and the horrible events my partner and I have endured has caused my weight to spiral. Since I have…

Record for Signing In??????
Way back in December 2012, our youngest son had a major surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. On the way home he commented that he would like to see both my wife and me live a lot longer by losing some weight and for my wife to quit smoking (She did a year ago in March). He gave me the link to myfitnesspal and suggested I try…

Hi MFP peeps, Been using the app for a couple of months now and only just posting to intro myself. Joe, male, 41, UK. Happy Sunday! I’m feeling more confident when logging food but I generally have questions that relate to nutritional info on foods pre & post cooking. Like today, I’m cooking a Shoulder of Pork by roasting…

I just started yesterday and didn’t have time to go to the store. I placed a small Walmart order and had it delivered to my work so I could make a salad to open my eating window.

57 year old female, struggling here to regain pre menopause self.
Interesting how easily weight creeps up on you! I had made a decision to lose weight and now a week later I'm up 2kg. Clothes are getting tighter and motivation is waning. I am 57 years old and feel frail, stiff, sore all over and have achy joints. I don't wish to continue on like this. Today I will reset! 1. Track daily-…

Siri/Shortcuts Integration for Easy Food Entry in Myfitnesspal
I suggest adding Siri/shortcuts integration to the Myfitnesspal app. Voice-to-text functionality could be used to add general meal notes to the food log, allowing users to quickly capture basic details of their meals without immediate detailed entry. This would alleviate the challenge of remembering or recalling meals,…

Starting over, under, and in between!
I keep getting in this rut of starting something new, giving up, finding something else, getting excited about that, and then giving up again. I have spent so much money on different plans and subscriptions. I would like to simplify everything. I started yesterday and had two donuts after church. I logged them and then ate…
