Lady Magenta *Update* I am no longer lonely here, now I feel I belong
I have lost 30 lbs in 75 days. The scale showed 318 lbs today in the morning. I started at 348 in September. :) I don't even know if weight loss is the most important achievement right now. So much has changed. It seems it finally 'clicked', and I am in command of the food I eat. Perhaps I finally understood that food is…

How hard is it to eat well when eating out???!!!
I met up with my friend today for lunch, the options are so crappie. Everything is full of sauce, comes with a side of chips/frys. Even the crappy side salad was just covered in sauce. I think it's my biggest weight loss challenge.

"food logged" message
I log my food on my iPhone and often tap the plus sign next to a few of the items on my recent list. I like this except when I go to hit successive items, I often find the "food logged" message has popped up on top of item I want to add, so I have to stop and wait for the message to go away. My request: Sometimes, the…

Weighing food
I am having a hard time understanding about weighing my food and how much I am I taking. When it says 1oz or 1g of fruit and when I measure it it doesn’t even say that it will say 20 on my scale and under 4oz on my measuring cup

Hi from New England!
Nice to be here! AGAIN lol! Here's my short version: I've been on a rollercoaster of a journey the past nine years. I lost a parent, spiraled into depression, emotional binge eating, then Covid hit and worked from home...Not moving...I feel like I woke up after a bad dream in a body I didn't recognize. I ballooned from 185…

Does anyone know how to add a photo to a meal
Really would like to add a photo to a meal especially if I need to just do a quick add. It would really help when looking back. I know you can if creating a meal but that’s not helpful as defeats the purpose

Hi Friends! Help!!
Hello lovely people! I started Burn Boot Camp in Georgia and they suggested using MFP to help make changes. The only thing is…I’m absolutely horrible at tracking anything. I’m mindful of what I eat, but when I had a dietician (thank you BCBS for deciding not to cover it anymore) it was easiest to maintain my eating goals…

Weight-loss for beginners
Are you trying to lose weight but nothing works?! Do you know how many calories you eat a day? Not how many you are “suppose to eat “ , How many do you CURRENTLY eat daily? Most of us don’t. That is why when we try to cut out calories to only 1200 a day we fail dramatically because we’re yea to eating 2000+ and such a…

AutoConvert food Qty with all units
One of the most frustrating things for me when trying to food track is the scanning number of servings features. For example, if I scan some cheese which on the label is portioned in grams I do not have the option to choose I used 1/4 cup. I have to weigh or convert. I wish you had the option to choose any unit of…

How do you log your meals when you’re a no recipe kinda mom?
Hi folks, I’m new sort of to this app and I find tracking my meals I’ve cooked on a whim, really hard to log. Do you log each ingredient in the dish as a whole or do you log just what’s in your plate? For example- I made salmon filets with basmati rice and steamed veggies. I made a soya sauce based sauce with home made…

Overate again :(
Hi guys I've posted before that I'm 5'5 175 lbs tryna get down to 135. I used to eat 1600 calories a day along with heavy strength HIIT workouts at a bootcamp I go to (think f45 but more cardio). When I ate at 1600, at least 2-3 times a week I got to 2300 with higher calorie meals or bad planning essentially. I tried to…

Potential Feature: Using Logged Food Data to Create Shopping Lists!
This should be a feature available for premium users. If I am in error, and this feature already does exist, I would love to know how to gain access. I have tried exporting a printable version of my Diary and using AI to analyze and generate a list, but the text of the exported file is not OCRed, which means it is not…

I’m new here
Hey, my name is Betty, I’m 52, 5’1, and I was at 200lbs. I weighed at my doctor’s office last week and the scales said 193lbs, so I’m very pleased. I’m doing my best to eat better. To be completely honest, until I was thirty-something I’ve always weighed 87lbs. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, so I got doctors…

I found a diet that hits the nail right on the head!
I really never tried weight loss in all my 67 years but when I was told to expect type 2 diabetes in my future I took the plunge. I was 232 lbs, 6-2 male, 67 years old. I decided to go all in over night. I went low carb, 80 or less gms daily and started a IF schedule of 14/10. Also stoped drinking, no junk food at all, all…
