    In our iOS apps:
    - First tap "More" in bottom right corner
    - Next, tap "My Meals, Recipes & Foods"
    - Then "Meals"

    To delete a Meal:
    - Swipe the item from right to left to reveal the "Delete" button, and tap "Delete"

To Edit the items on a Meal
    - Tap the Meal you want to update
    - Tap the Edit button on the bottom of the page
    - Swipe the item from right to left to reveal the "Delete" button, and tap "Delete"

    In our Android app:
    - Open the Menu bar (three horizontal lines the bottom right corner)
    - Next, tap "Recipes, Meals & Foods"
    - Then "Meals"

    To delete a Meal:
    - Tap the three dots on the top right
    - Tap the box to the right of the Meal to place a check mark next to the items you wish to delete.
    - Tap the "Delete" (trash can) icon.

To Edit the items on a Meal
    - Tap the Meal you want to update
    - Tap the three dots on the top right, then "Edit" button (this lets you add items to the Meal)
    - Tap the pencil icon at the top of the page and then place a check mark next to the items you wish to delete.
    - Tap the "Delete" (trash can) icon.

    On MyFitnessPal.com:
    To delete a Meal:
    - Click on Food along the top of the page
    - Click My Meals
    - Click on the meal you want to delete
    - Click on Delete Selected Meal

    To edit a meal:
    - First add it to your diary.
    - Then, in that diary entry, make any changes to the meal that you'd like - for example, changing a portion size, and deleting or adding food items.
    - Finally, follow the steps for remembering a meal, but select the "Replace an Existing Meal" option. Choose the meal name you wish to overwrite, and that meal will be replaced with the meal you just edited.

I guess I have a very different app because I logged my lunch but it doesn't show under "meals" on the "Recipes, Meals and Foods" menu. Also, when I clicked on the meal (diary), it only opens the meal but I cannot edit the meal other than to add the quantity, time, etc. I don't get an edit or delete option.

    Hold on- are you trying to delete a created Meal item (a Meal is a specific thing that is saved under My Meals, it's a combo of different food items that you specifically created) or are you just trying to delete items from your diary? If you're just trying to remove items from your diary;

    • Tap the "Log Food" or "Diary" button to go to your diary, then tap the "Edit" at the top of the page. (Please note: Android users will want to tap the three dots in the upper right to find the Edit option)
    • Each item in your diary will display a selection icon. Tap each item you would like to delete, then tap the trash can icon or the "Delete" button (for iOS users.)
    • As a shortcut, you may hold your finger on a diary item for a few seconds (Android) or swipe your finger horizontally (from right to left) across an item (iOS) to reveal the "Delete Entry" command for that item.

That's what I'm saying, I don't ever get an edit or delete option. The most I was able to do now was click on the "lunch" and delete the number 1 fron the box but that's it. Still the salad shows under my diary. I want to be able to delete it completely but that's not an option.

The edits consist on changing the numbers on those boxes.

I see, you're on the Manage My Day view. Just tap onto Lunch and then swipe right to delete the item.
