Finally checking in

trying to get and stay fit in my mid-fifties. Feeling alone and isolated even though I know I’m not. Thought I’d drop an intro here to get connected.
I am learning to enjoy exercising again, with modifications for now. I go to a Barre blend class 2x week, and this summer an early morning HIIT workout twice a week. I’m learning to love working with weights and resistance training. I love running but knee injury stops me right now, and I want to be someone who consistently gets in an effective number of steps in each day.
I believe sitting is bad for me!

I love my cats and dog, gardening, creating art, and food!
