Anyone see a Chiropractor?
Hi ladies, I'm debating on whether or not I need to see a chiropractor. I'm currently 32w/3d and have had pain in my left hip flexor/upper inside leg groin/tendon area since around week 26. I was thinking it would go away and thought I may have pulled something during my last long run (which was around 26 weeks) so I…

Experience with IUGR?
I went to my bi-weekly check-up today (I am 33-34 weeks along) and doctor is concerned. My stomach is measuring 2 weeks behind. So she elected to do an U/S and found that he is also measuring behind! She told me no more working out (which is fine by me) and I go back on July 2nd for another growth scan/ultrasound. With…

Just found out
Hello, Got 4 very positive pregnancy tests yesterday. Today was supposed to be the first day of my period, and no surprise, it hasn't come. I have one child, born in Jan 2010 (he's 4 1/2). I had a miscarriage in July of 2012 at 11 weeks pregnant that I did naturally and it was an awful, awful experience. I have a history…

Logging Calories Burned
Question- my Polar heart rate monitor died so I have no way of accurately knowing my cals burned so instead of inputting my workout and overestimating the number burned, I am contemplating not logging my workouts and just sticking to my MFP recommended cals and eat more if hungry... Any input?

17 weeks to go, and Dr told me not to gain ANY more weight?
Is this really healthy or safe? I have to cut calories below my appetite and exercise a lot not to gain any more. She told me this three weeks ago, and I haven't gained any more, but I get so hungry that I feel lightheaded, and I ignore it at night. During the day, I'll eat most or all of my calories so that I can do all…

Pregnancy efforts, need feedback
I am a mom to a two year old and in January I had a miscarriage, so I've been pregnant two times. My husband and I are about to start trying again. For the past few years I have had irregular/long cycle periods that seem to be MORE irregular when I exercise a lot or diet (count calories & lose weight). I'm not talking…

What did you do to include/prepare siblings for baby/birth
I don't want my daughter to see me in pain, so I will not have her with me at all until I am good and epiduraled for sure. I want her to feel a part of it and feel special as the new big sister. Just curious what others have done, so I can start preping anything ahead of time before the exhaustion of pregnancy kicks in. I…

Support needed. Working after baby
I'm feeling really sad/upset about returning to work after my maternity leave (6 weeks unpaid. oh yay!) and just looking for some support and maybe some encouragement from other moms. My job is office based, and 70%-80% of the time I am in my office, alone, with the door closed. Today I had a meeting with my boss about…

First time UK mum looking for friends for the journey
Well, the title says it all really! I'm Jane, 38 years old and just over 14 weeks pregnant - so due on December 7th. Would love some friends in a similar boat to me to share the experiences (good and bad!) with. Thankfully I've not had too bad a time with it so far - tired certainly but no morning sickness to contend with.…

Not pregnant yet, but I have some questions...
I am not yet pregnant, but I have a few questions and I thought someone on here might be able to help: 1. When they say you can do whatever you did before you got pregnant, but nothing new, how do you interpret that? I am not yet pregnant, but I have started C25K. If I get pregnant, would I be able to continue with that?…

When did you stop running/jogging?
I'm 34 weeks and was planning in my mind to run (Slowly, 4-4.5 mph) until my due date after being inspired by a friend. But yesterday I made it a block before I felt too much pressure between my legs. I walked the rest. I'm fine with transitioning to walking, but I was curious about other MFPers experiences.

eating pre workout
Those of you who workout ... Do you eat prior to working out? I guess it's more for those that workout in the mornings. I wake up at 4am to workout before work. I have a cup of Joe :) and I will eat a couple hard boiled eggs, normally. I am curious what other's do. Also, Do you count that as breakfast?

Jamie Eason's Live Fit Program While Pregnant
I was about a month in on her program when I found out I was pregnant. Has anyone done this program while pregnant and did you have success with it? I dont feel it will be too strenuous on my body, and I can just keep lifting light weights. Would love your thoughts on this. I am 5 weeks pregnant!!…

Feeling so guilty- gave into candy craving
Hello everyone, feeling guilty and just needed to vent. I'm 20 weeks along with my first and have been working really hard to eat as healthy as I can. I feel like I've been doing really well (lots of veggies, greens, whole grains and good proteins), but gave into a craving for sour patch kids a couple of days ago, and then…

Weight question!
I gained 4 pounds in the last 24 hours! I know that's not possible in real life but is it possible in pregnancy??? I am 10w6d and until today had hovered around 145 the last two weeks, today I'm 149! I worked an overnight shift (only do this 1-2x per month) and ate an unusually big breakfast. I'm 5'2 for reference. Thanks!

So Annoyed! Just realized my almonds have Sucralose
So, as some of you have more than likely seen, I have had previous posts about being upset due to chewing too much sugar free gum without thinking about the artificial sweeteners in it (some days almost an entire pack)!! Well, I just realized today, 32w 1d, that the Emerald 100-calorie snack pack of almonds I've been…

New here!! Due 12/7
Hi! My name is Marianne, I thought I would introduce myself. I'm due with my 3rd baby on 12/7. I gained waaaay too much weight with my first two (son is 6 1/2 daughter is just about 4) I figured I would try to track my calories so I don't end up over doing it and feeling depressed after. I go to the gym around 4 days a…

Advice
So my mom is very involved. Usually it is a good thing, but she has her heart set on being in the delivery room. To add to that she has made me promise she could be there since I was about 8. With out first we just didn't call anyone and fibbed alittle on when I went into labor, so she "missed" the birth. It just happened…

Alcohol Removed Wine
Hello my fellow Pregnant MFPers! I just thought I'd share this with you! Today I found a website for a company called "Fre", which produces "alcohol removed wine." heartburn
I just figured out that drinking water gives me heartburn. I have food in my stomach so the whole empty tummy thing isn't the deal but I went to drink water and had immediate heartburn. I'm supposed to drink water but can't stand it with flavoring in it and natural fruit gives me mouth sores. Does anyone have any…

Fundal Height Measuring Slightly Small
Hi - I had a doctor's appointment last week when I was at 28w/4days - my fundal height was measuring 27 1/2 weeks. This also happened at my previous appointment before that, I seem to be measuring about a week behind. My doctor doesn't seem concerned, but I wanted to see if other's are measuring slightly small? Since this…
