L-Carnitine
Awhile ago I purchased some L-Carnitine, they are 750mg per pill, and you take 4 pills a day. I found they gave off a weird body odour so i stopped taking them. Has anyone else here taken them?

Scared to DEATH to add calories and do a re-set!!
Hi everyone! I am not new to EM2WL, I have been a member for a while and looked into trying the program about 1.5 years ago.....never started. I think the fear overcame me. I have struggled with my weight since I can remember, and the thought of adding more calories has me petrified. I am tired of NOT losing weight, and am…

Losing Patience
Not with EM2WL, it's working, but the slowness of it all. If I didn't have a trainer monitoring my exercise, my calories and how quickly or slowly I'm losing weight, I really think I'd be tempted to just deficit down and lose the last 12 lbs quickly. I know it's a bad idea but it's really tempting. Except for a few diet…

Macros
Right, so, been doing this for about a couple of weeks. All going fairly well. No problem with the calories. However, it would appear I have my macros wrong!!!!!! I've been doing 40% protein instead of 40% carbs!!! It has been quite hard to get all the protein in (funny that eh!!). However, would this be problematic having…

Input welcome on tweaking my intake
Hi All! I would appreciate some help on tweaking my intake. I started back with fitness July 2014 at 3 months post partum and have been back it ever since. Starting weight was 184 lbs. Current weight is 167. Loss to date is 17 lbs. I am proud of this. Except it has been 28 weeks and I have been stalled for the past 12…

basic macros question
Hi again! The Scooby calculator auto sets macros at 25p/55c/20f. Is that what most of you use? I'm usually more 30/40/30

1000 cals?
I hope I've calculated wrong. According to scoobyw I should be eating 1150 per day to reduce 5%. I'm looking for results eating more than 1200 per day. Not fast results, life long results. Female, 54 years, 61 inches. 199lbs. Lightly active. Please check my numbers.

Looking for some motivation friends
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am looking for some MFP friends who are also eating more to weigh less.

Would love some input!
Okay, this is me. I'm 5' exactly. As of today I weigh 147.4lbs and I am 42 years old. My body fat percentage according to my Tanita scale is 36.5%. I still have a lot of fat around my tummy and back so I am not at a maintaining stage but at a deficit. I work out 5 days a week. 2 days a week I do upper body kettlebell…

Checking in with my numbers. Thoughts?
After a week of seeing how my body responded to certain numbers of calories and taking time to really think over my level of activity, here's what I'm looking at with my data: Gender: Female Age: 31 Height: 5'3" Weight: 138 Little bit of background: I was a sprinter in high school, but I was injured my junior year and…

MFP Macros
Last summer, I found this nifty little java script that you can install on whatever browser you have so that you can actually input the grams or percentages you calculate from outside Macro calculators instead of using the percentages from MFP:…

Is this program geared only towards people that....
are lifting weights?? I've been struggling with how many calories I should or shouldn't be eating so I'm interested to start this program. I've gone to the Scooby site and calculated my TDEE (20% cut) as being 1866 and setup my macros as 40-30-30 as suggested. But in reading this through this website, there is a lot of…

The Little Details
Okay so I'm having great success thanks to you guys helping little old me out but I have a few small questions if you wouldn't mind adding your input through your experiences. 1. If you guys go on holiday do you eat at maintenance and enjoy yourselves or would you alter your calorie counts to something more suitable for…

My Numbers
Hey y'all! I used to be that person who fell in the eating 1200 cals a day and busting your *kitten* of doing cardio 2 hours a day kinda person. Over the course of a year i've smartened up, bought myself some heavy weights, and have been giving er now for a couple months with lifting. I typically do 5 days a week, with one…

Oh Happy Day! It really does work!
Ten days ago I posted questions regarding whether this process would work for very overweight people. At that point I had been eating increased calories for about two weeks and strength training for 2 months. While I wasn't seeing any loss, I wasn't seeing any gain either. I was feeling that particular brand of crazy…

What was my gain?
I have been eating at about a 20% cut for three or four weeks now, and after 2 weeks of reasonable losses (1-2lb), I lost 8lb last week after a diarhoea and vomiting bug. This week I gained about 2lb. I assume this is because my body replaced water or some other useful thing after losing it when I was ill, as I have…

When to start stronglifts 5x5?
Hi every one, I've come back to em2wl after quite a break, in which I gained about 50lbs. To kickstart my loss I started 30ds and I'm still on level one as I only do it mon, weds and fri. I want to start doing stronglifts 5x5 and wonder if I can do the two together considering I'd be starting with no weight on stronglifts,…

confession
I got it into my head that I wanted to drop ten pounds by the time I got to Florida in three weeks. That all back fired. I noticed my weight wasn't budging anymore and climbed up by three pounds. I reset my goal back to what was working for me which is 1.5 pounds a week and eating between 1600 and 2000 cals a day depending…

Breastfeeding
Hiya! I'm about 20 lbs, give or take a few, from where I'd like to be. It is the weight I maintained for quite a while and the weight I was able to achieve after my first son was born (actually I dropped to 27 lbs under my current weight but that was too light). I've never really had to diet before. I used to brag I could…

Looking for new, safe friends!
Hi! I'm kind of new to EM2WL, but I've been heading in this direction for a while. I definitely need some EM2WL friends :) The more I read through my newsfeed, the more I realize I probably need to unfriend a lot of people for the sake of my own safety. They're kind, encouraging people, but almost everyone is eating at a…

My goal for this week....
So about a month ago, a little less, I started the New Rules of Lifting for Women, and started counting calories on MFP again, after a 6 month hiatus of me thinking I knew what I was doing/could eat whatever I wanted and gaining the weight back and then flipped to Weight Watchers were I was under eating because I was too…

Isn't it ironic...
So about 2 years ago for a solid 6 months I was KILLING myself at the gym, and lost some weight it was somewhat noticeable but I wasn't tracking my weight so i'm not sure exactly how much I lost. That summer was a series of unfortunate events and everything kind of went out the window, then I was introduced to MFP in…

Does this really work?
So I started trying to eat more in Dec. my goal was at 1690 calories per day. Most days I didn't make it that many. But I ate more calories. I am about to go back to eating 1200 plus exercise a day. I gained a bit and I am really frustrated. I wake up hungry at 3 am but don't eat. I am always hungry. I have always been…
