Pleateaus, exercise habit changes, and calorie intake
So, for the last 15 months or so I've been steadily going to the gym 3x/week for 15-20 min heavy lifting and 20-30 min interval cardio, with an occasional yoga class thrown in for variety. I've been using Scooby's Accurate Calorie Calculator, set at "1-3 hours light exercise per week". I was losing steadily up until about…

Question regarding fitbit and TDEE
Hi I use a fitbit and have worked out my TDEE. When I first started TDEE I unsynced my fitbit from MFP and just watched my TDEE but decided to sync it again yesterday. It gave me a calorie adjustment as I was above my TDEE. Should I have eaten these calories back or just stuck to TDEE. Also I have read a lot that I should…

Metabolic Reset
Day 2 down of my metabolic reset. I feel full, but still have cravings for sweets. I need to hit the grocery store tomorrow for some healthy sweet things that I can have. I am going to try not to step on my scale for a while. I wanted to say "all 8 weeks", but I think that would be setting myself up for failure. Anyone…

Eating at TDEE for a week- break
I'm planning my first "break" in eating at cut for a week in April. I wanted to be able to eat at TDEE on my week of holidays, but will probably not be as active, and have not planned for my usual exercise routines. (about 1800 cals burned in 4 sessions) Would it be more beneficial to take a week when I am exercising…

I had no idea this would be so hard mentally... It can be physically too. Eating that many healthy calories can be hard. Is this…

I was able to eat a lot (about 1800-2000 calories per day) and I lost 3.5lbs the…

Got my Body Fat % measured - now what?
So, I got BF% measured by a trainer at my gym. She took measurements in 5 places. My BF is 28%. A little background....I was on WW for 2 years, it worked for the first 9…

Does anyone use a Fitbit?
Hi everyone, I got a Fitbit Flex a couple of weeks ago and so far really enjoy having it. However, its calorie requirements (it calculates based on daily activity and BMR) never sync up with MFP, and I needed to ask: has anyone worked this out? I've enabled negative calorie adjustments in my diary and the Fitbit is set to…

Bod Pod - can this be right? :(
So back at the end of October, I went and had my body fat percentage assessed at a Bod Pod. I had been doing EM2WL for several months. I weighed 143 with 28% body fat. Today I went back. I knew I'd gained a couple pounds since then, so that part wasn't a surprise. Ever since I upped my calories with EM2WL and have been…

Please tell me that it isn't bad for me to have gone…

4 weeks in - my experience upping cals and next steps?
Sorry this is so long -- but I want to provide all the information that might be relevant. I have read all the sticky posts and I think I have the basics down, but I do have some questions. I started Weight Watchers in October. I tracked all my points, but also kept a daily tally of calories on my phone. In January, I…

Seems to be working...
I started this journey Dec 9. I started with the MFP system and have had some ups and downs and a lot of second guessing about my approach. I think I have finally settled into a nice EM2WL lifestyle. I got a pretty solid handle on my TDEE using the fitbit app with my on board iPhone 5s tracker. It puts me around 3250…
