  • My son is 14. All his friends are 14. One is 6' 5", another is 6' 2", another is 6'. They inhale food. I refer to his regular group of 7 friends as the Hoovers and feel like I'm stocking up for a natural disaster whenever there's a LAN party here. ;)
  • I've been meditating regularly for over 25 years. I'm very mindful about my self talk, my thoughts, how I perceive what is happening around me and choosing my response. I've also focused on my body and my weight and still reached 155 kgs. When a food physically interacts with your body no amount of meditation will correct…
  • I have another for today. This is one of our busiest weeks of the year. My birthday, my daughter's birthday, father's day and our wedding anniversary (15th this year) all fall within a week. My daughter was actually born on father's day. I made it through the entire week, including parties, without gaining any weight at…

  • You must be elated!!! Congratulations. B)
  • B) Very Cool.
  • :D Kittensmaster that's quite a feat. So many people rocking those sizes!!!!! B) I went for a walk this morning. It's very hilly where we live. Our house is about halfway up the hill. I used to not be able to walk back up the hill without stopping because I was gasping for air. This morning I walked up to the top of the…

  • This is just awful behaviour and speaks volumes about their character. Screw them! Yay for you. <3

  • I've also been stunned at how different people look. Even people still journeying to their goal. Holy cow people! There are some total transformations. I also see some great attitude changes and people rocking a whole new look. Way to go guys!
  • I've never folded t-shirts. I've always hung them. Is that just me? It's quicker and easier, it's easy to find the one you want and takes up less space.
  • I like these threads. The difference a new way of eating makes not only in the size and shape of people's faces but the changes in skin tones and clarity is quite noticeable. You are ALL amazing people. Thank you being part of this journey with me. <3
  • This was one month after I started and in May.
  • I finished "Outlander" yesterday. I've ordered another two novels in the series. I'm also studying Medieval Europe. Just for fun.
  • :) Aussies also say "Bless his/her little cotton socks!" It's said nicely.
  • I love reading this thread. Congrats to all. So much happy.

  • *applause for everyone* Fantastic. B)
  • This is the opposite in Brisbane. Breasts are $9 a kg (although the organic, free range can be up to $26 which is insane) but I buy chicken thighs with skin on for $4.99 kg. Chicken legs are usually around $4-$5 a kg as well. These are Woolworths prices.

  • I did this. I used to drink my coffee half coffee and half hot milk with 2 very heaped teaspoons of sugar. I replaced the sugar with monk fruit sweetener, gradually reducing the amount and replaced the milk with double cream. I can now drink coffee straight and black although I prefer it with cream. I no longer use any…
  • Not a pescatarian either but could you include clams and calamari? I googled low carb seafood recipes and there is an abundance of different flavour and cooking combinations.
  • I like this. It speaks volumes. Thanks for sharing.
  • Cleaning, tidying, walking back and forth, back and forth. I closed the door to my daughter's room. I'm not going there today. I really hate housework but I do like the results. :D
  • I thought this also. Time to go shopping Dan.
  • My husbands favourite saying, "Doctors bury their mistakes." In the end they are people. Humans. Who know what they've taught in order to pass an exam to get a qualification. They are not created equal.
  • Dan. Trust me. That is NOT a tremendously fat body photo. B) You look like you are having a great time! That's what life is about. Experiences. Your trip to China is full of them. I've been enjoying the updates. Keep having fun.
  • Great results. It's good to see some positive results from your efforts. Zero Carb is a way of eating. FitGoat on here is zero carb and there are communities on the internet who are totally carb free. Some have been zero carb for many years.

  • I saw this a few weeks back and wrote about it here on the forum. Let me see if I can find it and link it back.
  • "I cut out sugar and grains and it's been working for me." I either get an, "Oh." and they drop the subject or I get an, "I could never do that." I rarely have anyone argue with me and the fact it's working is proof enough for me. I don't carry on arguments. I just keep answering with, "It's working for my body." People…
  • Honey is sugar. If you want to ditch splenda maybe try monk fruit or stevia. I personally don't like stevia but monk fruit (Norbu brand in Australia) tastes fine.
